Please vote on the following bills before Congress.

Please also indicate your faction when you vote.  Also, if your faction for some reason plans on voting differently in the House or the Senate, also please indicate that.

example- (Blue Mod- YES in House, NO in Senate).

CPU faction should vote against bills that hurt their faction or their allies faction, and vote for bills that help their faction and their allies faction.  If tied (hurts 1 allied faction, helps 1 allied faction) then 50/50 roll.  Human players can vote how they want.  However, remember all bills that are passed by Congress have to be signed by the President to become law.

    House:

    • HR-1 Unanimous Approval for States to Ratify Amendments Amendment (in addition to passing in the Congress, it must also receive approval from 3/4 of states to be added to the Constitution). AYE
    • HR-2 Increase size of army AYE
    • HR-3 Grant Land Rights to Squatters in the West who have long remained on unoccupied land & create the Montana Territory AYE
    • HR-4 Establish a National Banking System to print a national paper currency and war bonds to deal with emergencies  AYE
    • HR-5 Coinage Act of 1857  AYE
    • HR-6 Chinese Laborer and low-skill worker ban AYE

    Senate:

    • SR-1 Minnesota Statehood NAY
    • SR-2 Retire outdated Weaponry, tactics, training, military technology, and military officers  AYE
    • SR-3 Offer Land Grants to help Populate the Mountain States, West Coast, and Southwest  AYE
    • SR-4 Print Greenback for payment to soldiers and other costs of war or to encourage needed inflation AYE
    • SR-5 Create a National Bankruptcy Law  AYE
    • SR-6 English Literacy tests for immigration Aye

We already have our 4 human faction players for the 1856 test, but there is room for someone to run a CPU faction (meaning you'll utilize CPU rules and make updates based on rolls rather than what you want to happen in the faction).  If that suits you, let me know.

100 percent that works thank you

  3. Hi

I'm writing this as a long-time follower of the game, and I have a question I asked this a couple months ago but will try again to see if there is any change to the answer. I am wondering and I've seen other people ask this if there is any way for us to have access to a copy or pdf downloadable version of the manual game so we can play ourselves. Yes I understand the manual version takes a long time to do anything in since the player will have to do everything by hand. I ask this because I see most people's frustration with the game on here or on discord with the delay of the game and I understand a game of this magnitude will take great effort and everyone appreciate Athony's effort but I feel most people want some return on their investment they made almost a year and half ago and I think access or some form of the manual version will keep great interest in the game and a sense of return on investment while we all greatly await the release of the full pc game.

    Hi all,

I'm going to create a single-player 1772 campaign, against 9 CPU teams, as we've never done a single-player test before.

Let me know if you're interested.

My priority in identifying the right player is finding somehow who checks the following boxes:  Super passionate about getting to play, is already familiar with the rules, is available to help the game move quickly, can help update and ideally even help code the google sheets.  Might not be possible to check all of those boxes, but I'll take the closest I can get.

    QUESTIONS:

On a scale of 1-10, how interested are you in helping me test a single-player 1772 campaign?

What is your AMPU-playing experience?  (Which campaigns, how knowledgeable are you on the rules, etc)

How are your google sheets skills?  (Will you commit to helping update history page, etc?  Can you actually help code, if something needs coded?)

Can you commit to making at least one move per 24-hour period, if it's your turn to act?

    1 10 very interested

2 follow all the campaigns have played in any yet but understand the rules and phases

3 Can work google sheets but cannot code

4 I can be commited a couple hours a day if I had to act

@Connor I'm the creator of the game, although not the developer who is coding it. I seriously doubt early access will occur mid-year with how slow things are going on his end. Theoretically, he could let you play the game in the form that it is in right now and that would be technically early access, but the game would be so complete as to not really be a game, although it is fun drafting politicians. I think the developer got optimistic with how quickly he could code the game, and he made that estimate without knowing how the game works in the way that I do (and the playtesters do). He also had to take a month's break to update his other game, so we lost at least a month's time. My guess is that early release will be pushed back to November, but I haven't heard anything from him. November just sounds about right to me. I'm not too upset about it becaue 1) the playtests are showing a bunch of minor changes I need to make to the game, and 2) Most KS projects miss their deadlines, so this is actually normal.

Hi thank you for the response I would love to be able to testplay the game in the current state and to just be able to draft the 1774 politicians and see there numbers and play the game by hand like you do on the forums but completely understand if that is unable to happen
