    General Events

    Improper SC Justice

    • A Supreme Court Justice rarely makes the news, but considering the routinely confusing, inflammatory rhetoric used by this justice, one must question the justice's suitability for the court, if not their sanity.
    • Associate Justice William J Allen faces impeachment trial (first for this playtest).

Alrighty, let's see if I can do this correctly.

Each member of the judicial committee selects a qualifying offense. What are those? It is unclear, so since the event mentions inflammatory rhetoric then the members will choose between the following:

    • Inciting Violence
    • Unethical Political Bias
    • Unethical Private Behavior

CPU rules say they will defend their own party and go against the opposite party so Dem CPUs will not bring any charges.

    Whigs, however, will bring charges.

    • Francis E Warren brings up Unethical Private Behavior
    • Oscar de Priest brings up Unethical Political Bias
    • Irvine Lenroot brings up Inciting Violence

    House Trial

  2. General Events

    Major Economic Protests

    • Regardless of the economic situation, some economic brackets and demographic groups live in a life of constant economic struggle. They're now organized and banding together and marching in our direction.
    • Quality of Life -1 (now at Good); Populists gain +1 in next election

    Administrative Bungling

    • You've been alerted a dozen or more times recently of the Postal Department bungling much of their work. Staff members under Carl Schurz have been openly complaining of inefficiency. You've been alerted by advisors that Schurz is overwhelmed by the job at hand.
    • Carl Schurz would gain "easily overwhelmed," but he already has it so he gains "incompetent."

OK, I guess I just misunderstood your initial message.  I thought you said no one would challenge if I ran for those offices.

Oh well.  My bad.  Will endorse Mitchell in the Senate.  At lease Sheridan got Speaker before he retires (he's getting up there in age).

I mean I can always just wind it all back. Easy enough haha
