I'm just going to do an 8-team league this first time. Mainly because it will be easier for me to do considering how busy I am. If it seems like a lot of fun, I'll make the league larger in season 2.

Just a question what program are you using for this?

Ok, @Sean F Kennedy is out because he's disappeared. We will have four CPU teams.

1960 NFL Draft!!!!!

@ConservativeElector2 @Rezi @jvikings1 @themiddlepolitical @WVProgressive

Draft order will be randomized. Players will get 2 picks per draft years, if there are enough for two. So you'll want to PM me a preference order or a position preference. You'll ultimately need to fill every position on your roster, but I'll update you later on or PM you if you have too many of one position and not enough of another.

Some skills will be hidden, such as alternate positions and how much the help Pass Rushing, Pass Defense, etc. Some players might help the team but won't be great individually. That part will be the mystery.

Here's how to read the numbers below.

1st column is name. If they're purple, then they are historically in the Hall of Fame

2nd column is their position.

3rd column is their overall draft value, which also includes some hidden factors.

4th column is individual ability, which means how often their personal stats will be impressive in a game.

5th is consistency. The higher the number the more likely they'll play at 100% each game and avoid an off game.

6th is durability. How often will they be at 100% in the 4th quarter. Some players might wear out.

7th is luck. This only plays a factor in game-breaking situations when the game is close.

Regarding draft value -- QBs will almost always have higher draft values than most. Meanwhile, K, P, FB will almost always have low draft value--even the best of them.

Name Pos Draft Value Individual Ability Consistency Durability Luck

Jim Otto C 41 5 5 5 3
Ron Mix T 34 5 4 3 3
Willie Wood S 30 4 4 3 3

On to the 1962 Draft.

Here's how your teams presently stand:

  • Rezi added DE Deacon Jones, aside from C, he has a need at every position.
  • TheMiddleP has added OLB Dave Robinson. He has needs at every position still.
  • JViking has added CB Jimmy Johnson. His pass defense is on a really good trajectory. He still has needs at every position.
  • WVP has picked of DT Bob Lilly ("Mr. Cowboy"). Aside from RB, she still has needs at every position.
  • CE2 has added QB Fran Tarkenton (the first dual threat QB who could also pass efficiently). Aside from QB, he still has needs at every position.

Generally, if you have a position nailed down, as mentioned above, you won't want to draft another of that position unless  player is just too good to pass up. For instance, if you have Johnny Unitas and you draft Brett Favre, you'll have wasted one of the picks because you can only play one QB.

Note: I've also been drafting for me and the CPU teams. To save time, won't present these to the end, but they will never draft before we do.

1962 NFL Draft: This is a small draft class due to few historically great players.

PM me your preference list -- top 7 preferred picks in order or top 7 position preferences:

Name Pos Draft Value Individual Ability Consistency Durability Luck

Merlin Olsen DT 34 4 4 5 3
Nick Buoniconti MLB 31 4 4 4 3

George Andrie DE 17 2 2 3 2
Jim Bakken K 16 3 2 2 1
Roy Winston MLB 13 2 1 3 1
Gary Collins P 12 2 1 3 1
