I don't smoke buddy. Nor do I drink lol. Straight edge life for me.

Same.  I don’t smoke (cigarettes or otherwise)...I love wine but only have a grand total of one glass every 3 months or so...used to be addicted to gambling and caffeine but gave those both up last year as well.

Now my only addiction is @vcczar’s A More Perfect Union game.  ;c)

Why did you give up caffeine? That's probably the only thing I have that's close to an addiction. I used to drink 12 cups a day. I now drink about 3, but I have no problem if I go days without coffee. Even when I drank 12 cups a day, it was more to just sit in the coffee shop to talk to people or work on things.

I am addicted to working on projects. The caveat is that it can't be someone else's project. So it doesn't work with work projects.

I've never smoked tobacco but I've inhaled enough 2nd hand smoke in my first 25 years to probably have had the lungs of a chainsmoker at one point.

I was never a coffee drinker, so by "caffeine", I mean soda.  I drank more than a gallon of Coke per day, for more than 20 years.  I eventually developed ulcerative collitis, which is manageable enough on it's own -- but it's exacerbated by caffeine, and at it's worst it creates arthritis, which I was beginning to develop as well.  So, it was time to get off the good stuff for good. Ha.
