Republican Debate Results:

Meeting in Detroit, Michigan, the five remaining Republican candidates for President faced off on the debate stage. While the debate was noted for its lack of brilliant or crippling performances, the candidates maintained an aggressive and heated presence on stage, with no prisoners taken in what has become a divisive and prolonged battle for the future of the Republican Party. Here are the results.

Ben Carson(3,8,10): +6. Ben Carson was widely regarded as the winner of the night, delivering a strong and confident performance sure to boost his campaign. He would have a rocky start, touting his endorsement by Carly "Fiorine", mispronouncing Fiorina's name to the annoyance of many of her former supporters, before discussing his slur-pass swap with Rush Limbaugh in a 20 seconds of the night which left many voters uncomfortable with his campaign. Carson would quickly improve, however, delivering a strong attack against Ted Cruz, referring to the Senator as "Cracka Cruz", "Grandpa Munster", and "The Zodiac Killer" while mocking Cruz for his campaign's recent collapse. Ben's best moment of the night would be a spellbinding appeal to his home state of Michigan and African American conservatives, bringing many Michiganites to tears describing his upbringing in the state. Overall, a strong night.

Ted Cruz(6,8,7): +3. Recovering from the misfortune of his last debate performance, Ted Cruz performed well throughout the night, and despite a damaging attack from Ben Carson, maintained a positive performance as the debate concluded. Cruz would start off presenting himself as the only "sane" candidate in the race in a somewhat successful opener, before appealing to voters in general, calling on the American people to come out and back his campaign in a successful appeal. To close, Cruz would take aim at Trump, doing modest damage mocking Trump's "ridiculous" comparison of him and Justin Trudeau. While a nasty attack from Ben Carson would do its damage, Cruz did well on stage and provided a fair boost to his campaign with his performance.

Jeb! Bush(5,10,2): +2. While only bringing modest momentum to his campaign, Jeb! Bush delivered a fair performance during the debate, though his time on stage was noted for its variation in quality. He would start off mediocrely, calling himself "high-energy" in an opener which simply didn't land with voters. Jeb! would then go on the offense, proving himself high-energy as he wrecked Donald Trump's night, tearing into Donald as a "false Republican" while Trump became visibly flustered over the attack. Then Jeb! would take an immediate dive with his performance, saying he loves "New Maine" while attempting to appeal to the people of Maine, adding "New" to the state of Maine's name in a moment which only turned Mainers away from the Bush campaign. Overall, an only somewhat successful night with its highs and lows.

Lindsay Graham(2,7,4): -2. Lindsay Graham, left all to himself on stage as the frontrunners tore at one another, failed to break through with what was an overall weak night for the Senator. He would start off by declaring, "He's a coward, he's a useless coward!", seemingly forgetting to say the name of who he thought was a coward. Lindsay would improve, however, declaring himself the only true "Reagan Republican" to success. Senator Graham would then end the night promising to be tougher than the other candidates on immigration and drugs in a gentle and timid voice, failing to match his message with his voice. Overall, a poor though not especially damaging night for Graham.

Donald Trump(10,3,5): -4. Trump, while not destroying his campaign, failed to bring any positive momentum to his candidacy on stage, instead faltering under the weight of two successful attacks. Donald would start off excellently, declaring simply, "Vote for me." in a statement which sent the debate audience screaming with adoration for the frontrunner. However, Trump's initial success would prove to be a fluke, as he would then deliver an attack against Ted Cruz, calling him Fidel Castro's son in an absurd attack turning some voters away from Trump's campaign. To close, Donald would call himself a "blue-collar guy" in an appeal which did not land with any blue-collar workers. Facing a fairly damaging attack from Cruz and a devastating attack from Jeb! Bush, Donald would fail to dispatch the dual assaults made against him, ending the night with a poor and damaging performance.

Linda Lingle: 9. Lindsay and Lingle have a blast, with Lingle endorsing Graham and boosting his campaign.

Collins: 9. While Collins' support has already gone to Jeb!, the lobster rolls are delicious, and Susan will give in a good word for Graham with the press.

Ad: 5. Some find the ad to be warmongering and childish, though no damage is done with it.

Overall + Debate: +6. Despite a weak debate performance, Graham gathers momentum with his successes on the campaign trail.

Trump will campaign in Hawaii by playing golf in resorts.

Returning to the mainland Donald will hit Michigan

Travelling down from Michigan Trump will try and rile up crowds in Kentucky

Hawaii: 5. Most Hawaiians aren't swayed by Donald's golfing, with the trip having little effect on the campaign.

Michigan: 2. Donald finds small crowds and unenthusiastic voters in Michigan, with the state proving cold to his campaign in the final days before it votes.

Kentucky: 7. Trump riles up crowds indeed, boosting his Kentucky campaign.

Overall + Debate: -5. With a losing debate performance and off-and-on success on the campaign trail, Donald recedes this week as the campaign's surge of momentum dries up.

1.Ted Cruz will question the sanity of some of the candidates.

2.Ted Cruz will actually visit Canada, because he's obviously from there. /s

3.Some malicious Cruz campaign staffers will spread conspiray theories that Trump was actually born in Germany, and that his father was a member of the SS.

Sanity: 3. Some find the attack to be too much, preferring that mental health stay out of the race.

Canada: 10! The visit goes brilliantly, with American voters finding it to be humorous and charming, and Canadians enjoying the chance to interact with a US Presidential candidate.

Conspiracies: 4. Most people just brush the theories off as garbage Facebook conspiracies, though Cruz is asked to rein his staffers in.

Overall + Debate: +5. While having a mix of success and failure on the campaign trail, Cruz's modest success on the debate stage provides a substantive boost, and his campaign moves forward with strength.

On 5/16/2022 at 12:55 AM, Rezi said:

1. Jeb Bush and Bill Weld will announce the creation of their new political organization and PAC: The League of Classical Republicans (LCR). He says that the purpose of this organization is to oppose Trump and his dangerous movement to orchestrate a coup of the Republican Party. He invites fellow current and former candidates Rubio, Carson, Christie, Fiorina, Kasich, and Graham to join the LCR and pledge to never support those who seek to endanger the GOP and America. The LCR does not comment on Cruz.

Event 2: Jeb! Bush will send out messages to his donors in Idaho, Louisiana, and Mississippi telling them to vote for Carson instead @Pringles. He maintains that he is not dropping out, but instead consolidating support amongst members of the LCR in order to prevent Trump from winning.

Event 3: Bush holds a rally in Portland Maine, where he publicly requests the endorsement of Senator Susan Collins.

LCR: 7. The LCR is well received as the organizational backbone for the Never Trump movement, though those not yet committed against Trump find it to be divisive.

Carson: 10! Jeb! might need to be a little worried that his voters ditched him this quickly, but the majority of his supporters in the listed states accept their candidate's request and will vote for Carson, with only a small group of hardline Bushites remaining committed to Jeb!

Collins: 9. Susan endorses! This provides a major boost to Jeb!'s Maine campaign.

Overall + Debate: 13! Jeb! Bush, with major successes on the trail and a minor success on the debate stage, surges with immense strength.

On 5/16/2022 at 7:56 PM, Pringles said:

1. Ben Carson will say that the Republican Cracka's in Ted Cruz and Donald Drumpf used robo-calls against his campaign on Super Tuesday. He'll tweet out to his supporters and send some of his own calls. "This is Ben Carson. I encourage all my supporters in the state of Maine and Puerto Rico to stick with Jeb Bush. We must stop the fraud from Donald Trump and Ted Cruz!" @Rezi

2. Ben Carson heads to Michigan blasting Trump and Cruz. Hoping to bring it home in his homestate. He tours Detroit saying as President he'll turn the shithole around.

3. Carson visits all the urban and suburban areas of Kentucky. Blasting both Trump and Cruz again.

Bush: 4. A good number of Ben's supporters dislike the idea of voting for Jeb!, viewing him as an establishment and moderate candidate who they would not like to see as the nominee. However, Ben's announcement does have an effect, as a good portion of his supporters in Maine and Puerto Rico agree to support Bush.

Michigan: 4. Some voters are turned off by Ben's negative campaigning, and calling Detroit a shithole doesn't sit well with those who live in Detroit.

Kentucky: 1! An upset Trump supporter will throw a cream pie in Carson's face during one Kentucky event. Carson will then fall over and hurt his back, cutting his time in the state short.

Overall + Debate: -1. Despite suffering repeated blunders on the campaign trail, Carson's debate performance helps to buoy his campaign, though damage is still done.

1. Carson will send out more tweets and robo calls to the Carson gang in key states. Telling them, "Look, we got Mississippi. And I'm now the 2nd place in the race baby, the pollsters don't want to admit it but it's true. Cruz and Trump are falling hard. But we gotta keep them in free fall. That's why I want the gang to vote for Jeb Bush in Florida, and Ohio. Do me proud! Ben signing off." @Rezi

2. Carson heads to Illinois. Touring Chicago and it's suburbs. Talking about his upbringing as a poor African American, and becoming internationally renowned for his medical achievements. He says that he wants to do something "for real," concerning African Americans in the nation, and that just because Obama was the first Black POTUS doesn't mean things got any better.

3. Ben Carson heads out to California. Hoping to make some early ground in the state, even with the Fiorina endorsement. Carson would seek the endorsement of Larry Elder. After hugging it out with Rush Limbaugh, Ben hopes to get an easier endorsement this time... as fellow black conservatives gotta stick together against the crackas.

Republican Debate:

Meeting in Coral Gables, Florida, the remaining Republican candidates for President faced off on the debate stage once again, taking aim at one another as the critical primaries of Super Tuesday II draw near. The debate, as heated as any previous debate night, provided both winners and losers in an outcome which will be sure to affect the upcoming primaries. Here is how the night went.

Jeb! Bush(6,10,5): +6. Jeb! Bush, while not launching his campaign into the upper atmosphere with his time on stage, delivered a strong and successful debate performance, giving his campaign needed momentum and boosting his chances in the upcoming primaries. Jeb! would start off with a modestly successful message calling himself "that guy" in a relatable and appealing moment for voters. Jeb! would make the night his, however, going after one Donald J. Trump. Jeb! Bush would slam Donald for his secret gay relationship with Jeb!'s brother, George W. Bush, in a shocking moment for the nation and media. "Why would anyone love George?", Jeb! would ask, causing the crowd to begin booing at Donald. Trump would then begin crying, leading the media to believe Bush was indeed telling the truth about the gay affair. Jeb! would then call himself a "real Florida guy" in a mediocre appeal to the voters of his home state, failing to move the needle. Overall, a strong night for Bush.

Lindsay Graham(8,4,7): +4. While he certainly didn't change the race in one night, Lindsay Graham provided his campaign notable momentum with a successful debate performance, giving the perpetual backrunner a boost to his candidacy. Lindsay would start off on the attack, hitting Ben Carson as "Obama 2.0" and calling him a RINO, doing significant damage to his target. Graham would then stumble, promising he'll be a "voice for Blacks" as President in an appeal featuring uncomfortable language for the African American community. To close, Graham would give a determined promise to cut taxes and eradicate cancer as President, ending the debate with an overall successful performance.

Ted Cruz(4,8,5): +2. Ted Cruz may not have delivered a winning performance on stage, but he also didn't deliver a losing performance by any means, and the Texas Senator still provided a small boost and adequate momentum to his campaign. Ted would start off with a whimper, talking about the free market in an unexciting and bland minute of debate time for voters. Ted would bounce back, however, appealing to the standard Republican base with a strong and passionate message. To close, Ted would attempt to take on Donald Trump, sparring with Donald but failing to deliver a damaging blow against him. Overall, a minor success which provides a small boost for Cruz.

Donald Trump(5,1,9): -6. Donald Trump delivered a middling debate performance which soon turned sour as he was put under assault by another candidate, leaving him with a damaging and poor debate night. He would start off by declaring that he is not one of the "loser" classical Republicans of the past, criticizing the LCR in an opening message which fired up Trump's outsider base as much as it damaged his standing with mainline Republicans. Trump would then attempt to attack Ted Cruz, but while attacking Ted accidently inserted his own name, stating, "Donald's a loser, alright? He's a liar and a loser." in an embarrassing moment on stage. While Trump would then recover with a strong and fiery appeal to the disenfranchised, his performance would take a massive hit as Jeb! Bush revealed Donald's gay affair with George W. Bush, leaving Donald in tears and making the night a losing one for his campaign.

Ben Carson(1,3,5): -10. The ultimate loser of the debate would be Ben Carson, who failed to put together a successful performance and who was further weakened from an attack by Lindsay Graham. Ben would start off horrendously, accidently declaring that he is a "hardline supporter of abortion" in a gaffe which caused one pro-life member of the debate audience to throw a boot at him. Carson would only somewhat improve as the night went on, with Ben telling Ted Cruz that he isn't "invited to my tea party" in an attempt to question Cruz's conservative credentials which was mostly mocked, before tiredly appealing to social conservatives and Southern evangelicals, groups which prefer much more fire in their candidates. With Lindsay Graham doing further damage, the night would end as a losing one for Carson, providing a major blow to his campaign.
