This is the Bailout policies (see my AMPU Agriculture post, if you haven't yet). Somethings that are partially bailout are in other economic categories. This is for things that are overwhelmingly bailout. What I think I need here are ideas for Era of the Future bailouts, Pres Action bailouts, and Gov Action bailouts. Again, forgive the bold. Eras are abbreviated. S = scripted event, L = Legis prop, G = Gov action, P = Pres action Bailout If No Federal Bailout Legislation is Active No Federal Bailout Policy (L-Ind-Default) Bailout Policies w/o Prereqs Ban Bailouts for “Too Big to Fail” (L-Neo) Subprime Mortgage Crisis (S-Ter) Bailouts with Prereqs Preq: Economic Meter is at Stagnant or worse (Meter effect) Community Reinvestment Act (L-Neo) Accept Loans from Wealthiest Americans to Help with Economic Crisis (P-Gild) Preq: Economic Meter is at Panic or worse (Meter effect) Bailout for High-Income Workers during Economic Crisis (L-Ide) Bailout for Middle-Income Workers during Economic Crisis (L-Ide) Bailout for Low-Income Workers during Economic Crisis (L-Ide) Federal Bailouts for Banks (L-Neo) Federal Bailout for Small Businesses (L-Neo) Federal Bailout to Major City (L-Neo) Temporary Direct Payments to Americans during Pandemic (L-Pop) Preq; Both Economic Meter is at Panic or worse (Meter effect) and Ban Bailouts for “Too Big to Fail” (L-Neo) is not active: Federal Bailout of Major Corporations (L-Neo) Federal Bailout of Wall Street (L-Neo) Preq: Requires any pandemic Maximal Pandemic Relief Package (L-Pop) Moderate Pandemic Relief Package (L-Pop) Minimal Pandemic Relief Package (L-Pop) Preq: Any pandemic package is active Expand Stimulus Package to Aid in Pandemic (L-Pop) Preq: Garn-St. Germaine Act is active Savings and Loans Crisis (S-Neo)
OrangeP47
This may go in another area, but eh, no harm in bringing it up: Relocation assistance related to rising sea-levels/desertification/etc.

I remember something about flooding in Georgia at one point...makes states eligible for Federal $ to rebuild infrastructure? Has there been thought given to states and infrastructure? I know that one of the big issues in the 1800's were "internal improvements" to include roads, canals, and eventually railroads. Has there been a consideration about maybe assigning a number to the states, say between 1 and 5, with 1 being the lowest level of infrastructure, and 5 being the highest (ie- HOI4)?

I've got a ton of internal improvements stuff. That's a different category from "bail outs." I'm just interested in "bail out" things for this thread. Declaring disaster regions is good idea for this thread.
vcczar
I might create bail out legislation for each industry in the game which hasn't one.
