About 1/4 of the way through, which is all I have time for right now. This Congress really didn't do much, though I will say there's lots of national road things I'm not reposting because they're already in or touched upon.  Really only two things addition worthy are as follows, and even then it's a bit of a stretch.

So minor problem.... I found another interesting one "S.28 - A Bill To prevent Desertion in the Army, and for other purposes." from the 20th Congress, but when I went to actually view it S.28 appears to be something boring about leasing copper mines 🤣

I guess even congress.gov is not the most accurate source.

Here's Buchanan. The Civil War and secession events are described in such a way that they're marked for Lincoln, even though the Civil War officially began with Buchanan. I think AMPU 2 will probably have each turn as a month and phases just occurring when needed for each month. However, AMPU 1 will have to stay with the phase system.

Anyway, Buchanan needs historical legis props and historical actions.

Here's JQ Adams. Talk about a high-need presidency. Almost no accomplishment, primarily because Congress opposed everything he wanted to do. What I need most are historical legis props that passed during his presidency. I need like 7 or 8 legis props. I need some historical pres actions. I also need 1 historical SC case, whichever seems like the most historical or most interesting. JQ Adams is the great "what if" president because he has all sort of ideas that were never realized.

John Quincy Adams (6th Pres: 1825-1829)

Scripted Pres:

  1. Erie Canal Completed - 1825

  2. US Banking per Capita Twice that of Britain - 1825

  1. Tariff of Abominations - 1828

Pres Actions:

  1. n/a

There are 3 cases that could be chosen from it looks like: Ogden v Sanders (bankruptcy), The Antelope (international slave trade), and Wilson v Black (commerce clause)

Ex Parte Vallandigham (1863)

Case on Freedom of Speech during martial law, an Ohio Governor candidate who was against the Civil War got arrested by a military tribunal. The Supreme Court stated that it didn't have the power to review military tribunal decisions.

Missouri "Coup".

Missouri was actually a contested state in the first year of the war. It had elected a pro-southern governor who tried to secretly divert funds to the state militia and aid the south, but a local union force had declared the office vacant and had implemented the Missouri Supreme Court CJ to be a more pro-union government. The old government went to exile and voted to secede from the union (South-Western Missouri in Newton County), but this motion was obviously symbolic because the Union completely controlled the entire state, and a provisionary capitol was made in Texas.

I'm not asking for any scripted events for this thread. I'll only ask for historic legis, history pres actions, or historic SC cases. I'll consider scripted events maybe in a month or two.

Here's Washington's presidency. High need areas are historical legis props for years 1795 and 1796. Ideally, 4 total. It would also be helpful to find more historical presidential actions the Washington did as president. These would be things he did using the office of the presidency, such as executive actions or other executive branch policy. The presidency was weak in Washington's day, so it isn't required that I have more actions, but it might be nice from a playing standpoint. All suggestions must be historical please.
