Classic. Jimmy Stewart, Lee Marvin, John Wayne. Just a solid western.

John Wayne has got some epic one-liners in it too.

"Liberty Valance's the toughest man south of the Picketwire - next to me."

"I said you, Valance; *you* pick it up."

"Besides, you didn't shoot Liberty Valance... I did."

I am a YUGE fan of John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart.

My favorite John Wayne movie is probably True Grit.

Jimmy Stewart... hmm. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Rear Window, It's a Wonderful Life... Jimmy is a GOAT.

Oh man, how could I forget:

Jurassic Park

I saw that when it first came out. I thought it was pretty good, but I liked the music more than the movie.

I saw it in theaters too.   I remember there being huge, terrifying jump-scares.

Watching it again as an adult on DVD, it's more like a comedy.  But back when we'd never seen anything like that level of realism, it was terrifying and amazing.

A few years ago they did another showing in theaters and that is the best way to see it. The first time you see the T Rex in the rain - goosebumps.

Election (this was actually filmed in La Vista. My cousin who went to the high school they used was an extra during the bus scene. The surrounding area looks a good bit different now then it did back then)

I had such a crush on Reese Witherspoon back then.  I even ended up getting engaged to a girl despite the fact that we fought all the time -- looking back, I realize now that my attraction to her despite the volatility was basically that she looked kind of like Reese Witherspoon.  Ha.

Yeah, I remember being quasi-terrified as a kid. I had some Jurassic Park collectible cards and I want to say I might have had some of the toys, but only like one or two of them. I had a raptor. I might have had one of the people. I think both were actually my younger brother's, who was more into the movie than I was. As a kid I really didn't like any movie with violence or loud noises, which might be one reason why I liked old movies (1920-1960) so much. Strangely, I liked Terminator 2 and professional wrestling.

Yes yes yes! I watch groundhog day religiously and the Back to the Futures were wonderful. Love ZZ Top in #3

Have you seen "Palm Springs"? Great take on the idea, Andy Samberg does a really solid job.

Wife and I watched Palm Springs last night based on your recommendation.

I LOVED it.  I laughed out loud approximately 100 times.

Wife hated it.  Zero laughs.

Yeah whatever category those 2 are, are my fav movie.

Also me and the girlfriend went and saw “Everything Everywhere All at once” tonight and it is the best movie I have ever seen, hands down. @everyone please watch it.

Makes you laugh, cry, be stunned by the cinematography and choreography of the fight signs (It was literally made by Marvel producers who left Marvel because A24 gave them creative freedom) the story is mind-blowing, and philosophical- it is the perfect movie. Please everyone go watch it in theaters

Or the power-hungry band director from Whiplash!
