vcczar
I am just throwing this out there, but it would be cool if there was a game that somehow pits the various theories of Western Philosophy against each other. I'm not sure, at this point, what such a game would entail. What the player is or what they do (or the AI, for that matter). It would be pretty neat to make an engaging philosophy-based game. *Note: If I were to make a game like this, it would focus only on Western Philosophy. I am not grounded enough in Eastern or other philosophies to the level in which I could put a game together.
DakotaHale
So would this be like a simulation of various nations revolved around different philosophies like maybe a stoic, militaristic, populist nation bordering a utilitarian hyper-libertarian state bordering an anarchist-socialist state and seeing how they interact diplomatically and militarily? I’m not sure how much it would be bound by nations. I’m seeing it as more of a game on philosophical thought than focused on politics. Not sure why but it reminded me of this interesting thought experiment website from MIT based on the morality of self-driving cars: https://www.moralmachine.net/
10centjimmy
Potential for a forum/debate based game: I'm picturing SPORE, but instead of lifeforms, ideas or arguments are evolving. Maybe they are adopted by certain regions, you can guide their development through a chain of philosophers.

There's a game on Steam called Orbi Universo, that I think would be a good model.

For a time (if this would be a game based on a timeline), philosophies or schools of thought would develop independently due to geography, only to start melding and taking on attributes. Similar to cultures merging. What's the end goal, the global dominant ideology/philosophy?

But I'll leave this thread open for ideas to spread.
