1. Hillary asks for Bill Clinton’s endorsement again

2. Hillary asks for Al Gore’s endorsement too

3. [Iowa] Hillary is just chillin in Cedar Rapids today

(6) Once again Bill gives his wife the cold shoulder. Apparently him and Newt Gingrich bond on cheating on their wives 😬

(14) Surprisingly Gore the previous presumptive nominee has endorsed Clinton. This will help her nationally.

(6) Clinton gets heckled by protesters calling her “Queen Hillary” calling the Clintons a monarchy.

Overall: -2 While the Clinton campaign has another poor week the endorsement by Al Gore prevented a disastrous week for Clinton

1.Ralph Nader will declare his opposition to NAFTA, saying it hurts American workers and benefits corporations.

2.Ralph Nader advocates legalizing marijuana.

3.Ralph Nader seeks the endorsement of Noam Chomsky.

(4) Nader’s call is blasted by cable news, although it has limited appeal in the rust belt.

(6) Nader’s event is ridiculed by members of both Democrat and Republican parties.

(14) Nader will get an endorsement from Noam Chomsky.

overall: +1 Nader continues to build steam but is being almost completely blacked out by the media and attacked by both main parties.

  1. Russ Feingold gives a speech in Iowa which outlines his Healthcare plan. He proposes allowing people 55 and older to buy into Medicare, while saying that as President, he would choose to pass any bill which expanded access to healthcare.
  2. Feingold meets with House Representative Leonard Boswell of Iowa's 3rd Congressional District, to try and get an endorsement.
  3. Russ Feingold boasts his 100% score from the Human Rights Campaign, and states that if he were to be elected President, he would work with congress to make Gay Marriage legal, and if that isn't possible, he would tour the country to get state governments to legalize it.

(11) Russ Feingold is able to sway some voters in Iowa.

(10) Boswell isn’t completely convinced so will decline to endorse at the current time.

(7) Feingold is blasted  by not only the religious right now but even those in his own party.

overall: -1 After a poor launch Feingold is starting to steer the ship in the right direction although still struggling.

1. Dan Quayle asks for the endorsement of Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott. Hoping to convince him that Quayle is the most fit socially conservative candidate to win the election.

2. Dan Quayle asks for the endorsement of Speaker Newt Gingrich. Citing their shared social conservatism, and opposition to Bill Clinton.

3. Quayle continues to hit the trail in Iowa. Attacking the Democrats as the party of "adultery." Saying, "It's high time we restore honor and dignity to the White House. No matter our differences as Republicans, no matter our political beliefs under this wonderful Big Tent. This is a battle of the character of America. What do we want to teach our kids? I don't care who the nominee is. From Bill Weld, to George Bush. I respect all of our candidates. And in a battle of character, any Republican will beat the disgrace that occupies the White House! And that is a fact!"

Who is Dan Quayle and when was he vice president?

(9) Lott decides against endorsing Quayle but it definitely isn’t out of the question.

(6) “Convince me you can spell 4th grader words Dan.” - Newt Gingrich

(14) Quayle is able to rally social conservatives in his attack on Clinton.

overall: +2 Although the call with Gingrich hurts Quayle personally but it isn’t leaked to the press so the Quayle campaign continues to grow.

1. With his first events being resounding successes, Bill Weld will go all in New Hampshire. Weld hits up Hanover, New Hampshire where he speaks at the prestigious Dartmouth College. He talks about the core tenets of his ideology, his time administrating Massachusetts, and why he is running for president. He hopes that he can get attendees to start considering him as an option if they haven't already, and build a base of support with the youth vote.

2. Weld travels across New Hampshire where he gets his ground operation into full swing. He also knocks on doors with volunteers in any suburban areas he hits up.

3. Bill Weld will seek the endorsement of New Hampshire house representative Charles Bass citing common ground on social matters.

(4) Good grief someone on the Weld team needs to be fired, the event coordinator didn’t do the research that semester end exams were the day of the event and they see minimal turnout.

(7) A surprise snowstorm dampens the  door to door campaign.

(13) Weld will win the endorsement of Charles Bass who will campaign across his district for Governor Weld.

overall: 0 Some bumps on the road halts most of Weld’s support.

1- Since the Endorsement went well last time Kucinich will try his luck in asking the venerable senior Senator from Massachusetts, Edward Kennedy for an endorsement. Emphasising both his respect for the senator's older brothers and the Senator's own record, promising to fight for his life goal of Universal healthcare.

2- Kucinich will make speeches around New Hampshire talking about how the Government has been wasting taxpayer money on foreign entanglements that have nothing to do with us  and how the way we have been intervening lately has been exaggerating humanitarian crises

3-  Kucinich will meet with local small and medium-sized business people in New Hampshire, stating how further free trade deals could seriously damage them in the long term by allowing competitors to flood the market with cheap goods and exploit cheaper labour pools than they can and as a result, they need to make a seriously anti free-trade atmosphere in the early days of the primarys by backing someone who will fight against it loudly (someone like Dennis Kucinich perhaps?)

(12) While Ted Kennedy is impressed with Kucinich’s progressive platform he doesn’t want to endorse quite yet.

(20!) Kucinich’s rally makes news headlines and causes peaceful rallies across the nation boosting his campaign.

(10) Dennis Kucinich has a decent trip to New Hampshire.

overall: +4 Kucinich’s campaign quickly gains huge grassroots support after a very positive week.

1. George Bush does a rally in Nashua, NH focusing on his plans for education policy making sure no child is left behind.

2. Bush asks for the endorsement of New Hampshire Senator Judd Gregg.

3. Bush hits the airwaves in Iowa with an ad campaign highlighting his record as Governor of Texas.

(3) A teacher eggs Bush criticizing his education plan.

(2) Judd Gregg outright refuses to endorse Bush.

(14) Bush’s ad goes over decently well

overall:-6 Bush continues to fall in the polls after a very terrible week minus a good ad in Iowa.

On 5/4/2022 at 4:17 PM, WVProgressive said:

McCain will ask former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu for his endorsement.

McCain talks about the need for America to lead the free world in combatting terrorism, especially in the wake of tragedies such as the Oklahoma City Bombing, the Olympic Park Bombing, and the open endorsement of Anti-American groups like Al-Qaeda by countries like Afghanistan. He talks about how his military experience makes him eminently qualified to make decisions on National Security, and subtly attacks Bush for not serving in Vietnam. He does this in Manchester.

McCain, having suspicions that the stealing of his advertisement was politically motivated, will hire a private investigator to find out who was behind the videocassette caper. If the detective is successful in discovering the identity of the thief, McCain instructs the detective to steal the videocassette back, and leak the revelations to the press. He instructs the detective to begin by investigating the Bush campaign for any possible leads.

(1!) More disaster on in the McCain camp, due to scheduling errors Sununu is left waiting for McCain for hours and now is downright angry and will not be endorsing McCain.

(18) McCain rallies the people to the military buildup, many demanding it to defend America from any future attacks domestic or foreign.

(5) The investigation goes nowhere and makes some officials in the McCain campaign look incompetent.

overall: -6  McCain‘s campaign continues to flounder as many are questioning if the Maverick is ready to take on the Democrats.

On 5/4/2022 at 5:39 PM, Hestia said:

Elizabeth Dole will travel to Iowa to campaign, sitting down with the Des Moines Register and hoping for a major endorsement from the paper for a potential boost in the early state.

Dole will then go with her husband to campaign in South Carolina, visiting with locals at a restaurant.

Lastly, she will go back up to New Hampshire, where she highlights her conservative credentials and background.

(8) Part of the meeting goes awkwardly and the Register doesn’t choose to endorse at the current time.

(5) The Doles are protested by angry Republicans who blame Bob Dole for losing to Clinton in 1996 in a landslide.

(3) The protests continue in larger turnout in New Hampshire!

overall: -4 After an extremely poor week Elizabeth Dole is joining Bush and McCain as their campaigns struggle to gather support.

Wellstone will keep to Iowa, trying to hit every county in the state.

Wellstone will then move to New Hampshire and campaign on healthcare reform

(9) Wellstone has slightly less than average showing in Iowa

(1!) Wellstone hits something alright, tripping over his own feet he accidentally punches a teenage supporter while falling down. SNL even dedicates a skit comparing him to Gerald Ford falling.

(9)  like in Iowa Wellstone  sees limited support.

overall: -5  The accidental punching of a teenager is almost all the coverage Wellstone receives

2.Sanders blasts Hillary as "corporate establishment candidate",calling for Democrats to turn the page from Clinton agenda and go back to FDR-style policies.

3.Bernie Sanders presents his Medicare For All,single payer healthcare plan at a rally in New Hampshire

(12) Roseanne Barr Who is a powerful voice on the left endorses Bernie Sanders. (thank God Twitter isnt a thing yet and she’s not taking ambien)

(1!) Sanders attack is met by retaliation from the president himself. Bill Clinton blasts Sanders for attacking his wife.

(9)  Sanders once again has a less than average sized rally in New Hampshire it won’t help him too much in the state.

overall: -2  Sanders slips and loses momentum after being attacked by the increasingly popular president.

On 5/6/2022 at 1:22 PM, The Blood said:

1. Buchanan will campaign in rural Iowa, pledging to end the "evil practice" of abortion at all costs as President. He openly discusses packing the Supreme Court with pro-life justices to overturn Roe v. Wade, and declares that, "Any exercise of the Constitutional right for the Supreme Court to be expanded beyond nine justices is worth it if it ends the systemic murder of the unborn in this country." Buchanan will also discuss a Federal ban on abortion if Roe v. Wade is overturned.

2. Buchanan will continue his campaign in rural Iowa, barnstorming across the state as he unleashes his fury on the "Washington elite" for their failure to protect America's economic sovereignty, instead "hemorrhaging jobs" overseas so they and their donors can grow rich off globalization.

3. Buchanan will visit New Hampshire, pledging to put "America first, the rest of the world second" as President, recommitting funds currently spent on foreign aid towards paying down the national debt and withdrawing from the United Nations.

(18) Pat Buchanan rallies the social conservative base, The news media noticing the size of his growing rallies.

(14) rural Iowa loves the attacks on the Washington elite.

(16) Buchanan’s support from Nationalist groups rises as chants of “America First “ are chanted at rallies of every Republican candidate.

overall: +7 Buchanan sees a huge swing of support towards his campaign this is especially good news considering the front runners are faltering.

1. Weld goes to Nashua, New Hampshire where he talks about his plan for improving American education in order to properly compete with the world in the twenty-first century, hoping to work with Democrats as well. He also jabs lightly at Bush's "no child left behind" plan.

2. Weld decides to go to the state left of New Hampshire, Vermont. He criss crosses the state due to its smaller size, and Bill thinks he can make waves with the voters of the Green Mountain state.

3. Weld seeks the endorsement of Vermont Senator Jim Jeffords. In a sea of conservative candidates, Weld thinks he is the only GOP guy on the field Jeff would be willing to endorse anyway.

McCain will campaign in South Carolina, touting his military experience, and interventionist foreign policy, while also subtly attacking Buchanan for his lack of military experience, and for his isolationist foreign policy.

McCain will give a speech in Concord, New Hampshire about moving past the recent partisan battle, and divisiveness that has soured American discourse, and paralyzed congress. John McCain will work with both parties to pass common sense policies that any American can get behind.

Quayle heads back to Iowa, advocating a more nuanced foreign policy than the one advocated by Buchanan, or McCain, saying that America should remain the bastion of freedom in the world, but Quayle is concerned about the recent interventions from the Clinton administration, and says, "America should be more humble."

2. Buchanan will campaign in New Hampshire, promising to reverse the "weak" trade policy of the Clinton Administration and fight for American workers as President.

3. Buchanan will visit South Carolina, appealing to pro-life voters with his strong rhetoric on the issue, promising to pack the court to overturn Roe and then pass a nationwide ban on the practice of abortion.

(18) Buchanan’s full on assault on immigration is popular among his base and is worrying to many in the Republican establishment.

(3) Buchanan is heckled and mocked in New Hampshire, many calling him “racist” “xenophobic “ and “just plain creepy”

(13) Buchanan will do his stump speech that many pro lifers love.

overall: +7 Buchanan will continue his major rise as he absorbs many social conservatives.

Announcement

@Rezi @Pringles @Fbarbarossa @Hestia @Murrman104 @mark2 @The Blood @Zenobiyl @Timur @WVProgressive @ShortKing @Cenzonico I am adding a new feature where if you have -5 or less momentum you can do a campaign shakeup where you get new campaign management and staff to try to revitalize your campaign. You get this option only once per game. It will be a d100 dice and the results depend on the roll.

Quayle will go for Former President Ronald Reagan's endorsement.

Quayle blitz's through Iowa voicing his support for an amendment to settle abortion once and for all, and attacking the Democrats on their pro-abortion policies.

Quayle continues to campaign in Iowa voicing his support for responsible use of the recent budget surplus, and giving a break to middle class Americans.

1. Bill Weld quickly takes action after puking on Senator Jeffords. He manages to set up a meeting with the less than enthused senator and basically says “Look I’m sorry I puked on you and I will do everything I can to make amends but Pat Buchanan is rising, and we need a coalition of Republicans in order to bring him down. So please, join me on our crusade for moderate Republicanism that will come to destroy the Democrats in November.”

2. In order to spin around his recent misfortunes, Bill Weld will go on the late night talk show "The Daily Show". He is interviewed by Jon Stewart who had just recently took over the show, and answers hard hitting questions hoping Weld makes himself seem more level-headed "relatable" to the general public.

3. The Weld Campaign in New Hampshire seeing the drop in poll numbers decides to launch an initiative called "The Granite Volunteer State". This initiative is meant to turn out a major ground operation never seen before in the state, and it first launches in the state capital of Concord just as a test drive. Volunteers are recruited for the Weld campaign, then set to knock on doors to spread the word of Weld's Twenty-First Century Message.
