Paul Wellstone (8, 5, 7)

Paul Wellstone reminded everyone why he’s carrying so much momentum, he started the night by emphasizing policies of the Clinton administration that he supported but also stated the need to “move to a new era” his pitch to blue collar workers went over decently but they are still majorly split between the 4 progressive candidates. Wellstone also noticeably jabbed Clinton on her lack of experience.

Will Make Gains

Dennis Kucinich (8, 7, 3) 

Kucinich also enjoyed a good night for his campaign, His message of being an honest man who will always be honest is similar to Jimmy Carter’s charm. His appeal to protectionists and blue collar workers also was a success. Although his attacks on Clinton’s foreign policy fell flat and didn’t do the damage to Clinton he hoped for.

Score: 18/30

Bernie Sanders (3, 9, 5)

Bernie Sanders had a decent night in the middle of the pack, although his starting pitch of a political revolution made some Democrats wince, his appeal to working class voters who may be swayed by Buchanan was a clear success. His attack on Clinton as the status quo candidate did slight damage to an already bad night for the First Lady.

Loser

Russ Feingold (4, 4, 2) 

Feingold had an… interesting night, his opening page of being a candidate for the people was mediocre at best, but then when you try to appeal to white working class voters and attack Clinton for being out of touch He spent half of the debate making references to Full House and Friends… yeah that was strange. 
score: 10/30

Hillary Clinton (3, 2, 1!)

Tonight was an absolute horror movie for Clinton. Her opening pitch of continuing The Clinton legacy was seen as pompous, then her pitch to women voters fell flat on its face, Clinton was quoted trying to paraphrase Madeleine Albright saying “ there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t vote for me” finally her attack on Republicans was a complete disaster when she had a mental breakdown and began venting about her husband’s extramarital affairs and declining to endorse her. “ he talks to Donald Trump on the phone more than he talks to me!” This was definitely not a good night for Clinton.

(1!) In a campaign blunder Kucinich calls the wrong Shirley MacLaine, the person they called was a schizophrenic patient. The Kucinich campaign is mocked for this.

(4) Joe Biden declines to endorse Clinton seeing her campaign in disaster.

(2) Clinton’s ad in Iowa doesn’t mention policy at all which gets criticized.

(8) While not as disliked as in Iowa Clinton’s lack of policy draws criticism.

momentum: -9  after a disastrous debate and a terrible week the Clinton campaign looks all but dead unless there is a campaign shake up which would include firing her staff many of which who has been with her since the beginning.  There are some calls for Al Gore to change his mind or a candidate such as Evan Bayh to jump in.

After Hillary’s disastrous debate performance it is leaked by a White House staffer that the Clintons got into a heated argument stemming from Clinton’s meltdown at the debate. An angry Bill Clinton left Washington at midnight and flew to New York City to visit an old friend… The President was quoted saying “Hillary it’s not my fault your campaign is dogshit right now.”

1. Bill Weld recruits John McCain to stump in New Hampshire for him. He will drive the point home that Pat Buchanan would ensure four more years of Democratic rule if nominated. Bill Weld on the other hand would wreck the Democrats in November. 

2. The NH Weld campaign will do a twist with it's "The Volunteer State" operation. They will specifically target areas where Buchanan seems to have large amounts of support and attempt to convince them that Pat isn't the right guy. He'd only weaken America ahead of the 21st century. Bill Weld is not that guy, the complete opposite in fact.

Hillary Events

Reshuffle: Hillary Clinton does a total overhaul of her campaign infrastructure, firing most of her old staff and bringing in new staffers and veterans from the prior Clinton campaigns. She also brings in representatives of various key demographics to help with outreach: black voters, Jewish voters, and unions. 

1. Hillary uses her money to send volunteers across Iowa knocking on doors and setting up Hillary yard signs. Many of the yard signs simply read “VOTE CLINTON”.

2. Hillary runs an ad campaign across Iowa bringing up snippets of Pat Buchanan’s “culture war” convention speech, where he attacks Hillary and condemns the “radical agenda” Clinton and Clinton want to bring to America. Hillary ends the ad with a message: “I’m a strong independent woman and a proud democrat, in order words I’m the Republican Party’s worst nightmare. Buchanan and his goons think America isn’t ready for a female president; this year, let’s show them how wrong they are.”
