Would've been a hell of a lot better honestly. It's why I like the contrast of the Labour and Conservative Party in the UK as well tbh. Labour screams undemocratic sometimes and all but nominates somebody like Corbyn to leadership... Conservative MP's choose their leaders in rounds. May not be the most "Democratic" but you know, these are elected MP's selecting who they want to represent their party. It's a part of the process. The people entrusted them with that.
