vcczar
This is just an update as of 5/21/22 The leading candidate for next game is still the Shakespeare game in which you play as a theatre owner in Shakespeare's London. This game is the closest to completion, which is why it will likely be next. The two games with the most momentum to either top Shakespeare for next game or possibly come after it are 1) The Golden Age of Hollywood, and 2) Western Philosophy game. I've been working on these casually when taking small breaks from AMPU. The Hollywood game would probably be the easier of the two to create. The Philosophy game might take some time, which means it will probably be set aside at some point. The political game that is most likely to be the next political game is Victorian Prime Minister, mainly because it's the closest to completion, but I currently have zero personal momentum for it as I want a break from making a political game. My other ideas will probably be picked up and dropped from time to time.
vcczar
As mentioned, I've been casually working on other game ideas when taking small breaks from AMPU. The Western Philosophy game already has over 50 Ancient Greek Philosophers! This is only in about 300 years of time. I'm in the 300's BC still. Crazy. The Golden Age of Hollywood game already has 300 actors. I've also read an entire book covering the period in depth in regards to how each studio ran their company and etc. Again, still don't know if these games will be next or after next, but I've got work done on them. Will work on them until I decide to jump on another one for awhile.
ConservativeElector2
I still favor Shakespeare, but happy to help wherever help is needed, when the time comes.

Shakespeare is 90% likely to be next. Only way that game isn't is if I can't find anyone to develop it. It will certainly be the first to be playtested on the forum.

It's almost completely different from what he did so far, but I guess he has got the knowledge to do it anyway

I think he makes more money on new games than updating old ones, I'd assume. I also don't think he has any ideas for new games, so I think it would be in his best interest to pick it up. Otherwise, I might have someone else do that one and Anthony can work on one of my other ideas.
vcczar
In the Western Philosophy game I'm to about the year 100. There's about 70 BC era philosophers. I'm going to add Paul of Tarsus and Jesus of Nazareth in as philosophers since they influence Western Philosophy so much. Muhammad might also be included, even though I'm not sure how much he influenced Western Philosophy, although he may influence philosophy coming from Spanish moors. No progress on the Golden Age of Hollywood game in the last few days, but I'll get back to it. I'll probably switch back to Shakespeare fairly soon.
