However, about 1150, Jesus III loses a war and the Empire of Jerusalem is destroyed. Another dynasty takes Jerusalem, reverting it to a Kingdom. Jesus III retains the Baltic Empire, which is now the only empire for rules by the original House of Nazareth, although there are several cadet branches ruling other nations. Jesus V is technically the 6th Jesus, if you include Jesus of Nazareth, who never reigned as an Emperor. Jesus V is in his early 50s. Jesus of Nazareth is his 13x great-grandfather. Jesus V, like his father, is culturally Estonian, although he's genetically only 25% Baltic. His heir, prince Jesus, is much more Baltic genetically, and will be the first monarch of the House of Nazareth who is only slightly Ashkenazi. Prince Jesus's 15-year-old son is named Manivald and he is betrothed to a Alsatian German. Their chld, and possibly a future Monarch, will likely be the first with almost no noticeable Ashkenazi genetics. We're in year year 1181 and all the known world is Paulician, except for about 5 counties that are Cathar. There are no non-Christian religions. He takes the throne as it becomes clear that the greatest empire in the world is no longer his Baltic Empire, but the Empire of Maghreb, which covers 50% of Africa. Emperor Jesus VI has died and his son is Emperor Manivald, aged 79. Jesus VI had reigned until the age of 91, when he died. At the death of Jesus VI, the Baltic Empire has shrunk to a rather minor Empire, almost Kingdom-level. This is the only Empire of the original House of Nazareth, the other Empires are cadet branches, although all descended from Jesus of Nazareth. In fact, the leader of the Mongol Empire is married to a cadet member of the House of Nazareth, so all future Khans will also be descended from Jesus of Nazareth. Manivald's heir is 60-year-old Prince Manivald. He is 75% Alsatian German and 25% Estonian, when looking at his grandparents. He might be the first ruler of the House to be oblivious to anything Judaic about his upbringing unless he's interested in history. Manivald Jr's son is 28-year-old Aotoiv (Estonian name). He has no children, and while he is betrothed to a woman who is of age, the Emperor has not accepted the betrothment, for whatever reason. The Kingdom of Jerusalem, which had been usurped by another dynasty, has retaken the Arabian Penninsula and is now once again the Empire of Jerusalem under Amir the Stonefaced. The top three Empires in 1244 are probably, Mongol, Byzantine, and Magheb, although Jerusalem, Francis, and Brittania could be fighting for that 3rd spot. His son, Aotoiv is heir, and his son, Hain, is 3rd in line. The name Jesus does not seem to be passed down anymore as the family has become restrictively Estonian. The Empire is an Empire in name only and is basically just a Baltic Kingdom in size. The Byzantine Empire under the cadet branch Nazareth-Damala is clearly the power of the world at this point, basically slightly larger than the Byzantine Empire in history. It's currently ruled by a 102-year-old Emperor named Yehoshua. The formerly mighty Maghreb Empire in Northern and Western Africa has fragmented. The Mongol Empire is shrinking under a grandson of Genghis Khan The Empire of Brittania, under Peter IV, is about to conquer Ireland. Peter IV belongs to a cadet branch of the House of Nazareth known as Ben Aharon. The House of Nazareth has over 17,000 living members, which makes the game run so slowly that it takes like an hour to process 20 years. There are 368 cadet branches to the House of Nazareth. The original House of Nazareth is the third largest of these 368 branches. The top two are, in order, the House of Wahid, which is an Iberian branch of the House of Nazareth,followed by the House of Nazareth-Lecce, which is an Italian branch of the House of Nazareth. About 15 of the members of any House of Nazareth hold the rank of Emperor. The world is still 99.9% Paulician, although the small pockets of Cathars still remain. He's 76 but has cancer, which has father also had, although his father managed to live over 10 years with hit. Aotoiv doesn't seem like he's near death either. His son and heir, Hain, is 42 and serves as marshal. Hain's son and heir is 8-year-old Tarvet. Aoitoiv has been the best Emperor for awhile, as the Baltic Empire has expanded by 25%, extending almost from Copenhagen to Moscow. Genghis Khan's descendants no longer rule the Mongol Empire as it seems to have been taken over or inherited by a cadet branch of the House of Nazareth, under Emperor Ambare Kashgarid. I just realized there is a cadet Branch of the House of Nazareth known as Jesusid. There's a Jesus Jesusid who is in prison. The Byzantine Empire is the reigning Superpower. It is no larger than a kingdom once again. West Slavia, Russia, and Brittania have all taken territory gained by Aotoiv earlier in his reign. Emperor Aotoiv dies of cancer at age 95. He somehow survived with it for over 20 years. The new emperor is his son, 61-year-old Hain, who is a drunk recluse. He is currently engaged in a war with Brittania that he's losing. 28-year-old Prince Tarvet is his heir. Tarvet's only child is his 11-year-old son, Hain, who will presumably be Hain II some day. The Deccan Empire, ruled by the House of Nazareth-Lizarra, in India is becoming a significant Empire and is about to unite that entire sub-continent. V3 comes out on Tuesday and the sim is processing days so slowly because of how large the dynasty is -- 17,600+ members. Emperor Hain drank himself to death at age 88, but he left the Baltic Empire larger than it previously was, as it has eaten into some of the territory of Russia and West-Slavia. Hain's 57-year-old son, Tarvet is now Emperor of the Baltics and head of the House of Nazareth. He's the first emperor in awhile that is free of a major negative, such as drunkard or cancer. Tarvet's heir is Hain, who will likely be Hain II some day. Hain's son is Kudres, who is 12-years-old. It is likely that Kudres's son, should he have won, will be the monarch when the game time ends in 1453. The political geography has not changed much in the last 30 years.
