WVProgressive Posted October 2, 2022 Share Posted October 2, 2022 After a tumultuous first term for Prime Minister Joe Biden, the 2024 General Election promises to be one of the most contentious in history, with numerous new parties on both the left, and the right. The Major Parties: Peoples Party led by Alexandria Occasio-Cortez - After the resignation of Bernie Sanders following the party's disappointing finish in the 2020 elections, young, controversial MP Alexandria Occasio-Cortez has risen to be the leader of the Peoples Part, the most mainstream party in America. They consist mainly of democratic socialists, greens, and some left-wing social democrats. Progressive Party led by Elizabeth Warren - The Progressive Party represents the left of American politics, and is broadly Social Democratic. They are also much more open to compromise with other parties than their Peoples Party cousins. Democratic Party led by Joe Biden - The Incumbent Prime Minister, Joe Biden has led America, and the Democratic Party since 2020, seeing it through a trying four years. The Democratic Party stakes out a position on the center-left of American politics, representing most mainstream liberal democrats. National Unity Party led by Lisa Murkowski, and Joe Manchin - Formed out of the No Labels Caucus, the National Unity Party is a broad coalition of centrist politicians, co-lead by former Conservative Lisa Murkowski, and former Democrat Joe Manchin. Conservative Party led by Mitt Romney - Twice denied the opportunity to become Prime Minister, Mitt Romney now tries again for a third time. He leads the Conservative Party, a party staking out the center right of American politics, the successors of Nixon, Reagan, and Bush. While proudly neoconservative on economic, and foreign issues, the Conservatives are the party on the right most amicable to societal evolution, with a majority of its membership in support for gay marriage, and a strong minority in favor of abortion, and transgender rights. Heritage Party led by Ted Cruz - Though Florida Premier Ron DeSantis is the 'face' of the Heritage party, Ted Cruz is its legislative, and de-jure leader. The Heritage Party is party squarely to the right of center, but not to the level of the Patriot Party, taking a decidedly traditionalist stance on social issues, and economics, but also advocating for a more interventionist foreign policy. Patriot Party led by Donald Trump - Led by former Prime Minister Donald Trump, the Patriot Party, having split off from Conservative Party in late 2022, is the furthest right of all mainstream parties. It is avowedly nationalistic, isolationist, traditionalist, xenophobic, and at times fascistic. Fiercely traditionalist in both social, and foreign policy views, the party id also in favor of some, though by no means most, left-wing economic views. Minor Parties Workers Party of America led by Jackson Hinkle - Proclaiming itself to be anti-capitalist, anti-degeneracy, and anti-imperialist, Patriotic Socialist party, the Workers Party of America is an incredibly small, but incredibly vocal party. Given publicity by figures like Tucker Carlson, and Russia Today, and given funding by the Russian, and Chinese governments, the Workers Party of America seeks to meld the far-left, and the far-right together, advocating unity of the MAGA, and Socialist movements. American Indian Party led by Russel Means - The American Indian Party, taking its name from the American Indian Movement, is led by noted AIM activist Russel Means, and concerns itself with protecting, and improving the conditions of Native Americans. Mauna Kea Party led by Noenoe K. Silvia - Named after the astonishing inactive volcano which makes up the island of Hawai'i, the Mauna Kea Party is a Hawaiian Sovriegntist Party which condemns the American annexation of the island as illegal, and calls for the restoration of the Hawaiian Monarchy as an independent nation. AKIP led by Bob Bird - The Alaskan Independence Party calls for Alaskan independence, and is otherwise conservative on all other issues. States Rights Party led by Alan West - On the ballot only in the former confederate states, plus Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona, the States Rights Party is a Far-Right neo-confederate party which supports the break up of America into numerous smaller nations, which it calls a 'national divorce'. Led by Alan West, notable for championing the Texan Secession Referendum of 2022 which lost in a landslide defeat of 89% opposed 11% in favor, the states rights party is the furthest right of all parties. Libertarian Party led by Justin Amash - After retaking control of the party against a short lived Mises Caucus coup, Justin Amash has set to work building the Libertarian party into a true force to be reckoned with. Steve Revilak and Anthony Jay work closely together to being gaining the necessary support in the region. PPUSA realizes that their best bet is focusing on the youth vote, and hires social media managers to begin running an extensive campaign on Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Anthony Jay gives a speech in which he calls out American political leadership for not supporting transparency at every level of leadership, and announces that the Pirate Party will release an audit of its campaign finances monthly, so that the American people know where their money is coming from and where it is going. With internal matters resolved, Justin Amash will kick off the campaign strong with a speech. "The Common Sense of Libertarianism", Amash simply talks about what Libertarianism is and why its so great. Free markets, small government, the right to privacy, freedom from the surveillance state, cutting the red tape and letting capitalism flow, the guaranteeing of civil rights, and most importantly the freedom for YOU the individual that Libertarianism provides. Nothing here is radical or far fetched. It's all common sense ideas, ones the big government interests don't want you to believe as such. This what America should strive to be, and we hope you will join the fight to make sure the United States of America follows down that path. (Speech is at a venue in Las Vegas because why not?) 2. "Yeah we got available surrogates. We aren't that much of an niche group. Sounds like you need to get educated on Libertarianism." While Amash is busy, Libertarian figures will be going down with the grassroots in the great state of New Hampshire! Dave Smith represents the Mises Caucus for reconciliation purposes, and with him Jim Gray to have a junior-senior dynamic at play here. It seems a bit weird but Amash wants to get the message as far and wide as possible. Basically the two will go around helping out volunteers and all the fun work stuff that goes with it. Cool right? 3. "What is a better place to drum up support for anti-establishment ideology than the internet? Seriously!" The LNC has rightfully decided that the internet is the perfect place to get Libertarianism moving, and targets specific websites.
