Bears offer a B contract to C Oates or G Timmermann. I'll sign QB Dilfer to an F contract just to save him for retirement because someone might need him at some point if a lot of QBs retire soon.

Broncos an A Contract to CB Crockett and a C contract to any MLB

Cowboys offer a B contract to CB Ambrose

Oilers offer a C contract to any CB. They'll also give an F contract to QBs Frerotte and Holcomb just to save them from retirement, in the event anyone needs them.

I'm being kind of humanitarian here.

NVM thought you meant just Rezi.  I was actually kind of deliberately not signing people to keep my slots open though...

You can always drop them. You don't need the slots open until next year. I also figured you needed a QB because White will retire at the end of the year and who knows if one will be on the FA list or available for you to draft.

I suppose, since we are more flexible on dropping now, it won't be an impediment. I do see he isn't beefing with the existing QB which was my main concern, so that's fine.

1996 Season Resignings

@matthewyoung123 @OrangeP47 @ebrk85 @jnewt @Rezi

Lots of major retirements:

T Munoz, CB Dixon, FS Cherry, SS Lott, WR Anderson, OLB Taylor, WR Stanley, CB Haynes, QB White, WR Martin, and RB Anderson.

Munoz was the one bright part of a terrible Bengals team. Lott carried the 49ers defense, as did Taylor for the Giant. QB White was only hope for the Saints in his last few years.

Resignings:
  • Resign or drop those with a zero next to their desired contracts. Your contract #s should be up to date.
  • You can only have 1 S, 5 A, 5 B, 5 C, 5 D, 5 F contracts.
  • Players will not accept a higher contract.
  • Feel free to drop people currently under contract or to raise their contract.
  • Bright red means they'll retire if they don't get the contract that they want. Light red means they're nearing retirement.

I'll start putting together the draft order. Take your time because tomorrow I really gotta focus on AMPU, so I might not get to the next step.
