The Blood
Kamala: 1. Kamala Harris will kick off her Presidential campaign with a rally in Des Moines, declaring that, "A vote for me is a vote to continue the work of the Biden/Harris Administration! As President, I will fight to fulfill our Administration's promises on healthcare, workers' rights, and social justice. With a continued Democratic Presidency and a restored majority in Congress, we can pass a public option, securing healthcare for all! We can support our workers by defending union rights and raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour! And we can root out the police brutality and institutional neglect facing black and brown communities around the nation! My victory in this campaign will be historic, as the first woman and Asian American to serve as President. But I intend to make my Administration itself even more historic, delivering real victories for core Democratic policies. I ask that you join my campaign, Des Moines, so we can win this election, pass legislation, and make history together!" 2. Kamala will campaign in Nevada, painting herself as the experienced candidate in the race. "You see, out of all these candidates running for President, I'm the only one who can really serve as President efficiently. Being Governor of a state for five years isn't experience to be President, and neither is being a Senator nor a nobody Representative. I've been in the Oval Office working with Joe since we were inaugurated, and I understand the ins-and-outs of the Presidency like no one else in this race. It's either me, who knows how to achieve legislative victories from inside the White House, or any of these other candidates, who will fall flat on their faces if they're elected. We shouldn't forget what happened the last time someone unprepared became President." 3. Kamala will campaign in South Carolina, appealing to black voters with a whirlwind tour of the state. Harris will emphasize her work with Joe and preparation to be President, while also claiming the other candidates are either too extreme or too unknown to win in a general election. Endorsement: Jim Clyburn Brian Kemp: 1. Brian Kemp will announce his Presidential campaign in Georgia, calling his candidacy a fight for "real conservatism" in the Republican Party. Kemp will criticize the "wacko faction" of the party for "killing us in the Midterms," while also emphasizing that Republicans can win in 2024 if "we regrow our spines and fight for true conservative positions on abortion, the Second Amendment, and preserving family values." 2. Kemp will campaign in Iowa, criticizing Tucker Carlson for being little more than a "snake-oil salesman" who "doesn't know the first thing about winning elections or holding public office." Kemp will note that he's "watched Tucker praise Putin on air," and doesn't trust him "anywhere near the nomination or the Presidency." 3. Kemp will visit South Carolina, emphasizing his pro-life record and policies in the state. Cal
Ron DeSantis begins his campaign by announcing outside the Governor's mansion that he will be running for President to return "conservative leadership" to America, and that he will "continue the work that President Trump started" (event 1) DeSantis flies out the Iowa, where he tells voters that he will lower the income tax for all Americans. Hestia
Events Gretchen Whitmer (D) Gretchen Whitmer begins her campaign with an announcement in her home state of Michigan, touting her administration's success at bringing jobs to Michigan and that she would continue to be a job grower nationwide as well. Whitmer then flies out to New Hampshire to begin her campaign cycle, touting her get-stuff-done mentality that has allowed her to be successful at the state level. She emphasizes that 'moderate' and 'progressive' labels are unnecessary and distract from what politicians should be doing - helping the American people. Gov. Whitmer ends her week in South Carolina, aiming to begin a rapport with African-American voters to try and put together a winning coalition in the Democratic Party. Endorsement Request: Fmr. Iowa Gov. and current Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack Joni Ernst (R) Joni Ernst gets to start her campaign in her home state of Iowa, giving her announcement speech in her home town of Red Oak, a small town in southwest Iowa. She touches on the 'Iowa values' that she embodies and hopes to get done once in office. Ernst goes to a larger rally in Ames, where she speaks at Iowa State University. She highlights her support of the ag industry while in the Senate and pledges to be a fighter for agriculture once in office. Sen. Ernst leaves her home state for the first time as she takes a flight out to New Hampshire to campaign. She hopes to get in with business-friendly Republicans in the state who are looking for an establishment, but conservative candidate. Endorsement Request: US Chamber of Commerce
Sean F Kennedy
Alex Jones (R) 1. Jones replayed the moment in his head over and over… ”There are a lot of things I loooooove about Hitler” - Ye Alex knew the stuff he spouted was completely bullshit, he was already lucky to not be in jail for his comments on Sandy Hook. Jones knew he needed to launch his campaign with a bang in Iowa “I’ll say it right now, I hate Nazis! I’d kill baby Hitler, I’d throw him right off a cliff.” Jones went on to launch attacks against Ron DeSantis calling him “Dollar General Trump” 2. Jones once again hits Iowa, telling Iowa farmers about his support or ethanol fuel… and a little bit of Pizzagate. 3. Jones will campaign, in rural parts of South Carolina, creating fears of government, confiscation of all guns. endorsement request: Jim Jordan Raphael Warnock (D) 1. Warnock will barnstorm across the south rallying southern black voters to his sermons as he talks a need for “Unifying the American People “ He will start in South Carolina 2 Warnock will go to Nevada and flex his progressive credentials with former Sanders supporters. 3. Popular Post Fbarbarossa
DEMOCRATS Gina Raimondo Campaign Roll: 16/100 - Raimondo's campaign sees a lackluster start, funding seems to be lower than expected and staffers are reluctant to involve themselves 8 - Raimondo's opening event went well. The Secretary spoke strongly and laid out a solid platform for her campaign. She gained cheers from the factory workers when mentioning her connection to the CHIPS bill. 8 - Raimondo has another strong event! She positions herself as strong on foreign policy and strikes a chord as a dependable leader. 2- Sadly, the interview does not go well. Raimondo makes a number of gaffes while missing key talking points. Endorsement Roll: 8! Shaheen happily endorses Raimondo, calling her "The best qualified candidate" Rashida Tlaib Campaign Roll: 64/100 - Tlaib's campaign starts solidly! While not huge, huge was never expected and the campaign is comfortable funding wise. 5 - The speech goes well enough. While nothing goes brilliantly the announcement hits the notes it needs to hit and reflects well on Tlaib. 2 - The interviews don't go so well. Tlaib doesn't schedule as many as she'd like to and has limited time with the ones she gets, missing key platform aspects. 6 - The Q&A reflects on Tlaib well. She doesn't shine but is able to answer the questions that are given to her and please the audience. Endorsement Roll: 5 AOC refrains from endorsing at this moment in time but says good things about Tlaib Jimmy Dore Campaign Roll: 31/100 - Dore's campaign never expected a bright start and it certainly didn't get one. Funds were expected to be low and are low. 7 - Dore's opening rally goes well enough, appealing to those who support him and the sheer strangeness of it gaining him a slot on the news. 6 - This goes well enough. Dore is able to dupe a number of students into donating to him and signs up a few volunteers. 5 - Things go similarly in New Hampshire, though Dore doesn't draw in as many students. Endorsement Roll: 6 - Turner doesn't endorse Dore. Though she certainly doesn't say anything negative. Richard Ojeda Campaign Roll: 71/100 - Ojeda's campaign jumps to a much stronger start than anyone expected! He draws in donations from across the US. 1! - Ojeda's launch doesn't carry the burst of energy from his campaign. Speaking awkwardly to a near empty room Ojeda's campaign sees a rough beginning. 10! - Though Ojeda bounces back! His rallies in South Carolina draw a much bigger audience and the candidate goes viral for this out of nowhere appearance. 4 - The energy doesn't carry into the rest of his stay. Ojeda speaks well on his plan for the party but doesn't reach too many. Endorsement Roll: 4 - The Governor won't endorse such a minor candidate. Jared Polis Campaign Roll: 84/100 - Polis' campaign is off to an incredibly strong start. The Governor's record speaks for itself and draws many supporters to his campaign. 6 - Polis's appearance goes well enough. He doesn't wow but avoids making any missteps that could harm his campaign early on. 3 - The Iowa event doesn't go well. Reynolds isn't going to legalize marijuana and Polis' calls for her to come across as an attempt at pandering. 3 - Polis doesn't do too well in New Hampshire. He's clearly tired from his trip across the country and doesn't perform too well. Endorsement Roll: 5 Vilsack holds off on endorsing Polis but when asked about the meeting he makes sure to speak well of the Colorado Governor. Merrick Garland Campaign Roll 87/100 - The Attorney General's campaign starts off strong! Garland finds himself announcing and more or less finding a campaign waiting for him. 9 - Garland's announcement hits all the right notes. He touts his experience, jabs gracefully at the GOP and shows a willingness to take them on before finally reaching out to the American people. 10! - Garland starts strong in Iowa, the offices fill up and the volunteers are plentiful. Before long Garland 2024 has a strong infrastructure ready and working in Iowa. 8 - Garland's interview goes excellently. The Attorney General is calm and measured, answering each question well and touting his experience competently. Endorsement Roll: 4 In the only hitch to Garland's opening Buttigieg refuses to make an endorsement, citing how early it is in the race. Kamala Harris Campaign Roll: 90/100 Harris is the current Vice President and with Biden's retirement a well funded and staffed campaign was ready and waiting for her. 2 - Harris' announcement falls flat. Perhaps in homage to the President, Harris stumbles and gaffes her way through her announcement, the crowd noticeably losing excitement as she went on. 4 - Harris' attacks don't go perfectly, rather she touts the experience of her opponents. Still, she does effectively put across her own experience, so it's not as bad as her announcement. 4 - Harris has jetted across the country in her campaign so far, by the time she hits South Carolina she's tired. She doesn't make a particularly bad gaffe or misstep, but her exhaustion is clear. Endorsement Roll: 7 Clyburn speaks very well of Harris, but, the influential figure he is, refuses to weigh into the race just yet. Gretchen Whitmer Campaign Roll: 10/100 Whitmer's entry came as a surprise. To most she seemed focused on her work as Governor and thus upon entering the race had very little support waiting. 4 - Whitmer touts her experience well but like with her launch, found very little support ready and thus gave her announcement to a very small room. 8 - Whitmer stumbled but soon finds her feet! She makes her point perfectly in New Hampshire, making the news with her new and refreshing take on labels. 9 - The Governor does well in South Carolina. Demonstrating excellent empathy and speaking from the heart she is able to really connect with voters. Endorsement Roll: 6 Whitmer has a great meeting with Vilsack, but the Secretary doesn't want to endorse anyone just yet. Raphael Warnock Campaign Roll: 74/100 The Georgia Senator has been a popular figure since his election to the senate, a strong campaign was ready for him come his announcement. 5 - Warnock may lean a little too liberal for South Carolina, but his sermon is strong and thus he manages to make a firm impression. 10! - It's a hit! Warnock drums up a lot of enthusiasm among the Sanders supporters, finding himself gaining in infrastructure in Nevada as a result. 2 - Sadly, South Carolina doesn't accept Warnock too well. The Senator seems to be running a little liberal for their liking. Endorsement Roll: 2 Ossoff declines to involve himself in the race yet. Bernie Sanders Campaign Roll: 17/100 No one was expecting another run from the Vermont Senator, so there was little infrastructure waiting for him upon his entry. 10! - In spite of the poor campaign infrastructure Bernie launches himself perfectly! He talks about his usual issues but they're hits for reasons and the third Bernie campaign is off to a good start! 1! - He immediately stumbles though. The bad infrastructure affects Bernie's scheduling and he completely misses his Iowa event, insulting many of the attendees who waited upwards of three hours. 10! - But what a way to bounce back! Bernie's a hit with college students and this hasn't changed yet. His visit to New Hampshire colleges manage to drum up volunteer support and donations. Endorsement Roll: 3 - Warren doesn't endorse, citing the wideness of the field and the early timing. Republican Rolls soon
Fbarbarossa
REPUBLICANS Tim Scott 45 13/-2 - The Senator starts off with a capable enough campaign but starts off with a less than ideal but far from campaign ending week. Tulsi Gabbard 3 16/+1 - Tulsi's campaign is disastrous, with untrained staff and low donations, still, her first week is stable enough. Tucker Carlson 12 13/-2 - Tucker is off to a bad start, despite hitting all the right notes there seems to be a level of detachment within him and his campaign. George Santos 99 22/+7 - The congressman is off to a fantastic start, it seems that having said everything at one point or another has made him speak to every base. Mike Pence 52 15/0 - While not amazing, the former Vice President is off to a capable and stable start in the run for the nomination. Brian Kemp 58 11/-4 - Though his campaign is steady Kemp's events didn't go too well. He got too caught up talking about big trucks. Ron DeSantis 47 11/-4 - The Governor isn't off to the strongest start, especially considering that his campaign was much awaited. Still, he's far from done. Joni Ernst 57 13/-2 - The Iowa Senator, considering the unexpectedness of her campaign, isn't off to a bad start but she still has much work to do. Alex Jones 22 11/-4 - Jones is coming from a strange place so a bad start isn't unexpected. Still, he has a low ceiling and a lot to do. John Kasich 81 19/+4 - Kasich is off to a strong start. He seems to have made a bang among the anti-populist wing of the party.
