Imperator Taco Cat
(This probably will be the end of this rp) 18/10 for ratification, 100!/40 for implementation. The constitution passed with a surprising amount of difficulty. It failed to get significant support from anyone, however most feared that any other proposal would be worse, allowing it to pass narrowly. Thankfully the new constitution has proven quite a success. The protections for the poor are implemented brilliantly, pretty much eliminating poverty in record time. The protections for dissidents leave the opposition satisfied. And the protections for homosexuals (first of such laws in modern times) leave Germany as a safe haven for them and solidify Germany as a bastion for progressivism. Last (but certainly not least) the legal reforms allow an immediate crackdown on corruption, leaving crime at historic lows. Russian civil war: (high is socialist gains, low is monarchist, in between is American/Japanese) rolled a 44 Quarterly(?) economic roll: 91 In spite of major economists warning of an impending doom for the German economy it has boomed, the massive reductions in poverty came at little expense to the middle class, and the penalties for “wealth hoarding” drive wealthmen to spend their surplus, driving the economy. American president William Bryan demands an end to our “illegal” presence in Alsace–Lorraine and the surrounding area. Stats: 7 Aps, +5 every 3 months, 10!/10 stab, 3rd international member, 6/10 mil, the left wing of the “Pragmatists” dominate the government, 2/10 relations with the USA.
