vcczar Posted March 24, 2023 Share Posted March 24, 2023 I'm going to start a 2nd playtest in about a month to 6 weeks to 2 months. Anyone interested will play the part of a team owner from 1951-2023. It's mainly team management (drafting rookies, signing free agents, setting rosters). My goal is to make it so you only have to respond once a day to a spreadsheet tab and then I'll process all the moves. It will be an alternate NFL in the sense that you'll pick your team's city and mascot from a list. You can pick a 2nd franchise (expansion) or move your team. Players are historical. It has about 90,000 more people than Cambridge and about 50,000 more than Springfield. It had a major league baseball team in the late 1800s and early 1900s and has minor league baseball and hockey teams today. I’m not aware of any sports teams that have played in Cambridge or Springfield in the big four sports, outside of some small independent or college showcase teams. I have no idea how long it's going to take me to get it ready. Some days I feel like I'll be done in 2 weeks, sometimes it feels like something will take me 2 months.
