Sophia McDonald-Burger is probably a very obese woman... runs the family.

I've always been told that Nguyen is pronounced as "win". So Lynn Nguyen should be "Lynn Win"

I believe it’s actually “nwin”. Some people have a tough time saying that though, so that’s probably why they say “win”.

One of my city councilors has the last name Nguyen, and they’re constantly correcting people mispronouncing it. Which is kind of weird, because the city has a very high Vietnamese population, so it’s not an uncommon name in the city.

I go with "nwin" as well, it's the closest English can get

Just nobody pronounce it "nuyin," that's terrible

That’s exactly what the other councilors call them, and at this point I feel like they’re being intentional.

Nobody runs in that family.

Anywho, I missed this thread.  I appreciate the silly names, but I wouldn't draft someone *solely* based on that unless it was a truly exceptional name.  I feel of these, only two clear that bar, Crystal Dicks (suddenly reminded me of a coworker my mom had in the 90s, named Maxine Padd, who went by Maxi) and Emperor Clay.
