Dems also control the Governorships of new states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. Giving them a 47-5 Lead.

Dems also control the Senate seats in DC and Puerto Rico, giving them a 79-25 Majority.

 

They also hold the House 392-46

In 1778 Reds increased their delegation count to 8 out of 13. During the term of CC President John Adams, the Continental Congress failed to vote on the rejection of the Carlisle Peace (4-5-4) leading to the automatic and immediate adoption of increased representation in the British Parliament.

TBH from discussions, I think we're still on the mark.  We've made it difficult for the CPU to do this, and this was kind of a freak occurrence statistically I'd say.  Plus, as we've discussed, this early game game-overs aren't really that big of a deal, so it's probably fine.

Considering that two factions rolled a 1 and two rolled 9s out of a d100 yea its a freak occurrence

In 1868 Playtest:

Ex-President Franklin Pierce has died in 1873 of diphtheria 

He is joined in death by Representative and Faction Leader William Seward who has died of tuberculous. 

Also joining him among the dead is Benjamin Wade who has died of dysentery 

Robert E. Lee has not died but is retiring for personal health reasons and his brother Sidney Smith Lee is retiring to become President of Harvard College
