@MishfoxI'm surprised you voted for Stevenson in 1952, even though Sen. John Sparkman (D-AL), his running mate, was an avowed segregationist.

I just want to give you a heads up my friend. Adlai Stevensons running mate in 1952 was Senator Sparkman. An Alabama segregationist. 😕 

Why vote against Ike? 😞

Sounds good. I have a small requirement for third party bids to make it as an option. If they're hovering in the 0.50-1% range. 

Socialist and Union parties were essentially dead by the 1950s. (I wonder why)

Eisenhower was good on civil rights, but his constant militant anti communism eventually led to many democratic regimes being overthrown by the CIA and many unnecessary wars in third world countries. This trend has had terrible effects on the working class, and it started with him.

He was complicit in the red scare where anyone who said anything wrong was labeled COMMUNIST and executed. He was also the architect of Bay of Pigs and other moves to antagonize socialist nations because of his obsession with communism taking over. Eisenhower played a part in this, especially in overthrowing democratic nations and installing oppressive “banana republics” because MUH COMMUNISM. This is just one example.

It's also pretty tough for me. I'd ultimately go with Nixon though because I think he's better and smarter when it comes to Foreign Policy. Nixon is also pretty good on economic issues. 

In general, had I lived in 1960 I'd feel like too much media attention is going to Kennedy and he's a guy who "thinks he's so cool." (which he is really, F for respect.)

Nixon is the quiet, workaholic who'd make necessary, pragmatic decisions the country needs. Realpolitik for example. 😄

Nixon was certainly one of the best foreign policy leaders in history. Except for the madman theory shit lmao (still don’t know if that was 4d chess or 4 IQ chess). 

Also I just learned a week ago that Kissinger was still alive. Somehow I thought he died in like 2000 or something.

Yeah... hard to make a very pragmatic looking man seem very irrational and on the verge of lunacy. 😛 

In Dobs 68 RP I did things a bit differently 😉 

(Ended up winning Vietnam hehe. Kissinger, and Donald Rumsfeld) had a major role and got the Medal of Freedom. For their role in the Treaty of Saigon. Which annexed North Vietnam into South Vietnam. 😎

Also won the Nobel Peace Prize for it. Nixon top 10 for sure. 😛

Haha, I'll admit he can be funny at times. The fact that you can drink 12 diet cokes a day... like damn. I suppose I could drink 12 Cheerwines a day, but I'm definitely more of a nice, cold, sweet tea like most southerners 😛 

The fact that the diet coke is brought in on a silver platter... LOL

I used to drink six coke cherries a day and I can’t even imagine doubling that.

Was he a good president? No. But he was the funniest

No, but I said it was an example because it was his, and Henry Kissinger's foreign policy approach! I would've said "Nixon invented realpolitik."
