Timur
Ed Brooke wins Massachusetts and Washington D.C. The last minute ads and the endorsement by the Washington Post and Herald helped him win D.C. narrowly. (He beat Nixon by only 22 votes) In a stunning upset, Eugene McCarthy has won Massachusetts. Robert Kennedy ended up in third place. He only got 16.1%. Channing Phillips scored a victory in Washington D.C.
