vcczar
Just for fun. Here's the list of the 228 active politicians that you will be drafting during the Active Draft of 1774. As we will have 12 factions (2 CPU factions), you can expect to start with somewhere between 15-25 politicians--19 if the politicians are balanced by parties, but I think Red starts with more politicians. Who are you must eager to draft? John Bartram Thomas Penn Benjamin Franklin Edmund Trowbridge Jonathan Trumbull Sr Lydia Taft Meshech Weare John Hart Francis Lewis Matthew Griswold Matthew Thornton Philip Livingston George Taylor John Collins Nicholas Cooke Henry Middleton Israel Putnam Esek Hopkins James Smith Jared Ingersoll Sr Roger Sherman Eliphalet Dyer John McKinly Amos Singletary John Hanson Johann de Kalb Rawlins Lowndes Peyton Randolph Edmund Pendleton Samuel Adams Benjamin Chew Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer Cornelius Harnett William Livingston John Witherspoon James Madison Sr William Alexander Lyman Hall John Thomas Abraham Yates Jr Henry Laurens Christopher Gadsden Lachlan McIntosh James Otis Jr Samuel Ashe John Morton George Mason Oliver Wolcott Sr James Bowdoin James Warren Richard Adams Jr Abraham Clark Lewis Morris Isaac Roosevelt I Hugh Mercer George Wythe Benjamin Harrison V William Samuel Johnson Artemas Ward William Ellery Horatio Gates William Franklin Mercy Otis Warren* Martha Washington Thomas Chittenden Caesar Rodney James Armstrong William Smith Richard Caswell Josiah Bartlett William Bradford William Preston Archibald Bulloch James Jones Daniel Carroll Joseph Hewes Richard Stockton Richard Morris Friedrich W von Steuben George Ross William Moultrie Henry Lee II Samuel Huntington William Williams Robert Treat Paine William Whipple Thomas Willing George Bryan William Greene Jr John Dickinson Abraham Whipple Thomas McKean Thomas Collins William Cushing Thomas Johnson William Smallwood Robert Howe Samuel Livermore Alexander McDougall Charles Lee David Rittenhouse Francis Marion George Washington Richard Henry Lee John Blair Jr George Read Benjamin Lincoln Robert Goldsborough Samuel Johnston Philip Schuyler James Duane John A Treutlen Daniel Boone William Floyd Robert Morris Thomas Sumter Francis Lightfoot Lee Edward Telfair Button Gwinnett John Adams Hugh Williamson Abiel Foster Simeon Olcott John Smith William Moore Thomas Wharton Jr Thomas Barbour John Bayard Thomas Paine Benjamin Huntington Patrick Henry Andrew Adams Timothy Bloodworth James Clinton William Montgomery Daniel Morgan Carter Braxton John Hancock William Heath Jonathan Grout Charles Carroll of Carrollton John Pickering Francis Hopkinson Arthur St. Clair William Maclay Richard Bache Silas Deane Dudley Saltonstall Nicholas Van Dyke Nathaniel Gorham Tristram Dalton Robert Yates Jeremiah Van Rennselaer Richard Montgomery Thomas Nelson Jr Ethan Allen George Mathews Charles Scott John Williston Paine Wingate Philemon Dickinson George Clinton George Clymer Thomas Scott Joseph Stanton Jr John Rutledge Thomas Bee Andrew Pickens Sarah Franklin Bache Abner Nash Haym Salomon Return J Meigs Sr John Langdon Alexander Martin Jonathan Trumbull Jr John Milton Samuel Allyne Otis William Paca Upton Sheredine John Sullivan Elias Boudinot Walter Livingston Benjamin Guerard William Grayson Arthur Lee Benedict Arnold Joseph Warren John Archer Samuel Chase John Penn Samuel Maclay Joseph Reed Charles Willson Peale Thomas Fitzsimons John Smilie Henry Marchant Alexander Gillon Ralph Izard James Wood Theodorick Bland Moses Robinson Nathaniel Niles Gunning Bedford Sr William Hooper Lambert Cadwalader James Wilson Thomas Tillinghast Nathanael Greene John Burroughs Hopkins Arthur Middleton George Muter Francis Dana John Lowell Thomas Stone William Hindman Thomas Jefferson John Page Mihsihkinaahkwa Tadeusz Kosciuszko Abigail Adams Anthony Wayne Daniel Hiester Samuel Osgood John Sevier Richard Bassett Pierce Butler Joshua Clayton John Houstoun Squire Boone Richard Taylor Elbridge Gerry James Sullivan Benjamin Stoddert Aaron Kitchell Melancton Smith Thomas Mifflin Edward Hand Richard Peters Robert Brown David Bard Ebenezer Hazard Samuel Nicholas John Mathews Oliver Ellsworth Francis Willis Casimir Pulaski Caleb Strong Timothy Pickering Robert H Harrison James Lloyd Jonathan Freeman William Paterson Jonathan Elmer David Brearley John Jay Cornelius Schoonmaker Charles Biddle John Hiester John Barry Arthur Fenner Thomas Tudor Tucker John Patten Theodore Sedgwick Shearjashub Bourne John Lambert Egbert Benson Robert R Livingston Peter Muhlenberg Benjamin Rush Charles Coatesworth Pinckney Thomas Heyward Jr Paul Brigham Jonathan Ingersoll Gunning Bedford Jr Michael Jenifer Stone Thomas Burke Henry Southard John Tyler Sr John Paul Jones

WVProgressive
I’d probably try to draft Ben Franklin first, and Tom Paine second.
Rezi
George Clinton would be at the top of my list!
vcczar
I think if I were playing as Red, I'd try to dominate New England. If playing as Blue, I'd try to dominate both NY and PA. I'm not sure if this is a great strategy, but it's kind of how I'd want to play the first time.
Hestia
I'd think about John Hancock, George Clinton, Henry Laurens, John Jay (as their respective parties 😛 )
themiddlepolitical
Hancock, Franklin, and Clinton
MrPotatoTed
My top Priority as a player (not AI) would be Washington for the obvious reasons. Followed by perhaps John Adams and Richard Henry Lee.
Cal
Washington is of course a priority. Otherwise, grabbing a few revolutionary war general who could be the “alternate” Washington might be good.
