Arkansas Progressive
The idea is to set aside a list of governors who are term-limited at each era start date. New sheet time. Will post when home

ebrk85
I have a file I created that has the rules for each state by start date on length of term and if there are any limits. (aka 4 years, two-term limit, can re-run again after one term out) Surprisingly, some states were not so easy finding what changes they made over the past 200 years. I did have to make some judgement calls to fit what options we have in the game. For instance I rounded up term length. So states that elected their Gov annually are listed for the game having 2 years terms and states with 3 years terms have been rounded up to 4 years. I figured this would be helpful to have first before figuring out what individual Govs would be barred from running at each start date. So I can share the doc with whoever needs it. And longer term this is something Anthony will need when coding start date info.

As in when you change the rules for Governor terms be it term length or max terms how will former governors be affected. A bit like Jerry Brown in California? MrPotatoTed
I'd say it doesn't impact the incumbent -- just like when Presidential term limits were passed, they specifically wrote that it didn't apply to President Truman who was in office at the time.
