Succession shoutout

I particularly think @vcczar and @MrPotatoTed would enjoy this show (in the unlikely chance they haven't seen it). It streams on HBOMax and is loosely based on the Murdoch family. Many people have compared the show to a work of Shakespeare, and the cast includes many classically-trained Shakespearean actors. I didn't think the concept would work as well as it did, but I consider it the 2nd best show I have ever watched.

It's definitely Shakespearean from what I've seen. I watched about 65% of it. It's very good. It's hard for me to stay focused on TVs or movies, generally. I end up multi-tasking a lot. I'll have to rewatch it. I typically pay attention to comedies more than drama, but I'd say this is the best drama since Mad Men or the early seasons of House of Cards.

The Succession OST has very quickly become a staple of my Spotify, especially when I need to feel motivated.

Give Kieran Culkin his Emmy for portraying one of the best characters in recent fiction.

I think Strong deserves it more. His S4 performance was gold. Never has someone played such a flawed and piece of shit character that you end up rooting for anyways since Tony Soprano.
