vcczar
RJ Buckley (OH-D) was a conservative who often opposed FDR's New Deal programs. Unlike many conservative Democrats, FDR didn't attempt to purge him from the party to make room for someone more liberal. Some attribute this to his support of the Court Packing scheme. His actions: Bulkley, Robert J. 1913 Helps frame Fed Reserve Act Bulkley, Robert J. 1914 Hollis-Bulkley Bill for rural credits Bulkley, Robert J. 1933 Votes against NIRA Bulkley, Robert J. 1933 Votes against TVA Bulkley, Robert J. 1933 Votes against AAA Bulkley, Robert J. 1935 Votes against WPA Bulkley, Robert J. 1937 Surprises some by voting for FDR's Court Packing scheme
