vcczar
FT Frelinghuysen (NJ-R) is one of the more influential of the Frelinghuysen dynasty. His actions: Frelinghuysen, Frederick T 1861 At peace conference to try and prevent CW Frelinghuysen, Frederick T 1870 Nominated for Amb to UK by Grant but declines to serve Frelinghuysen, Frederick T 1877 Part of the electoral commission deciding 1876 election for Hayes Frelinghuysen, Frederick T 1881 Confirmed Sec of State for Arthur; suggested by Grant Frelinghuysen, Frederick T 1883 Negotiated several free trade agreements as new tariff seems insufficient
