And the wording of your post sounds like you believe we live in a world of actual, clearly-defined, "heroes," and, "villains." But that's comicbooks and movies (and even then, not all comicbooks and movies), not the real world

Hillary is no hero, nor do I think that PotatoTed made her out to be in any way. But the last four years under Trump show us his limits as a President and a person. Many more died of COVID because of his own personal inaction and hesitancy with science and fact. There are probably some who would still be alive with a President Clinton. Then, January 6th would never have happened under Hillary Clinton either. She knew better. Sometimes that's all we need - when the bar is this low. There are better options than her to be sure - quite a number in fact. But to suggest there is a moral equivalency between them is dishonest and moral posturing.

Yep.  I pretty specifically said she "wanted" to be the hero who saved the world, not that she would have actually succeeded in doing so (especially because it's an impossible task.)

But as Hestia said, there's a difference between...oh, heck, why am I even trying with you.  You do your thing, go wild.

They (or someone in their place) may have instead died in some God-forsaken battleground in another new, unneeded foreign war, or because of a terrorist attack a new radical, extremist group created in response to President Clinton's foreign policies, instead. And those self-same hooligans that attempted a putsch on January 6th, 2021, may still have been stirred up into violence and chaos - perhaps even by a private citizen Donald Trump bitching about the rigged 2016 election and being prevented from a lack of success in a comeback attempt in 2020 - do you REALLY think Trump would peacefully and disappear to make amateur art if he lost?! What-if is a dangerous game, I concede - but it's a game Clinton doesn't really win hands down, as I see it, or is at all likely to. And it's a horrid gamble that should never have had to have faced the American voters by the wretched stolen election (and betrayal to the voters) in 2016! In this case, what-if is a game everyone loses...

And, for the record, @Pringles, I, myself, would NOT choose David Duke OR Idi Amin Dada over EITHER of them. Since you're comment was undirected, I've lost track of if someone here said they would.

If you are of the same line of thought from the post Jvikings did, that is what I am criticizing. If you are not, I am not.

I'm also criticizing the people who agree with him. Because why not.

Why views that a Hillary Clinton Administration would likely also be wretched, and not inherently BETTER -just different shit - was independently come to, and probably with many different points and priorities, not just, "in agreement," after reading his. Just to be clear.

"Well, I'm gonna pull a Patine and say I cannot complete the poll because of question #7 and my inability to chose either of those horrible/evil people."

The quote Im criticizing specifically. Just for clarity.

He's (somewhat mockingly) mentioning my tendency to not fill out polls because I find or two questions untenable, and then I publicly declare so. He's not quoting any stated opinion I previously made here.

Yeah if you disagree with the "I cannot complete the poll because of question #7 and my inability to choose either of those horrible/evil people." then I'm not criticizing you at all sir.

However, him, and those who agree with that statement, are the ones I'm criticizing. Because what they believe is absolutely dumb as hell. Choosing a white supremacist who if given a hold of power, would likely cause a repeat of Adolf Hitler... over a corrupt sleazebag who covers up for rapists.

By all means. They're both horrible. But there is a CLEAR lesser evil when it comes to running the country here. And that's strictly when it comes to running the country. I'm not weighing sins like the Bible warns about or something... I'm just stating this from my own perspective.

Crap, I didn't realise he was one of the most brutal despots in history. Can I change my vote?

Well I didn't know, did I? I know next to nothing about past foreign leaders. Well now I just feel bad.
