The First Annual Rezi Hunger Games Simulation

Ladies and gentleman, your submissions are in, and after some quick testing, a simulation has been created. Now it's time to introduce the contestants of the first annual Rezi Hunger Games!

 

From District Cenzonico: 

I don't know what to make of this district. We have two wildcards who I could see going anywhere from first place to last place. I would say that Jack makes it further than Nigel, given that he will certainly not be suffering from the ailments of Hunger, giving him a significant advantage.

From District WVProgressive: 

A very unique district. Prentiss is getting up there in age, she isn't what she used to be on a physical level, but she has a very unique ability in that she should be able to sus out anyone who might be going after her. With her high intelligence and keen abilities in deduction, she could be an underdog. Makoto Kino, on the other hand, should in theory be a strong contender to win. She has plenty of powers going for her, but in this arena, anything can happen.

From District Blood: 

A district of politicians. I don't expect this group to go very far, but anything can happen. Neither strikes me as an outdoorsy type or the person to have many experiences roughing it out, especially compared to their opponents. Perhaps Tom has connections on the outside who will help him out via sponsorships.

From District Timur: 

A political party and a conspiracy theorist. The Czech Pirate Party is very strong, some may say they're close to seizing the leadership of their own country. However, how will the party do in hand to hand combat. Much of the Pirates are made up of internet-savvy youth, but if they get a ship, who knows? On the other side, we have a conspiracy theorist. Perhaps she'll think that the whole games are a deep state conspiracy and get herself killed immediately? Or will her insanity lead to victory? Only time will tell.

From District Pringles: 

More public figures. If Cheney can get his hands on a gun or find his way to a duck-hunting pond, then he may be a force to be reckoned with, but otherwise he's fairly frail. But then again, he's never been one to shy away from dirty tricks and manipulation. O'Leary, as a business owner and politician, knows how to be crafty. Can he utilize this knowledge though, in this arena?

From District Rodja:  

The progressives. Bernie can motivate and Elizabeth can come up with policy until the cows come home, but neither has the kind of experience that would lead to a victory in this scenario. However, there still is advantages to both. Sanders and Warren both grew up poor, and likely gained craftiness from that. Sanders has spent much of his adult life in Vermont, a rural state, and has likely learned some outdoors tricks, while Elizabeth has many military family members. Perhaps she's picked up some combat skills?

From District Beetlejuice: 

Easily the most chaotic pairing of them all. Ted should be right at home, in an arena where he doesn't have to deal with the industrial revolution and its consequences, as well as the fact that bombs have been sponsored to contestants before. Marianne may be able to connect with her surroundings better than anyone else in this game, and maybe she can harness the good energy to create a true force to be reckoned with.

From District SeanEugene: 

Seeing as we have a youthful Bill Clinton competing, I'd say this district has a chance. While neither Lou or Bill are super physically imposing, they're both young and at the peak of their shape. Lou also has the power of enchanting his enemies with lyrical genius, and Bill won't be held back by young women in this arena like he is in the outside world.

From District Dobs: 

Two real girlbosses that we have competing here in these coming days! Carly is almost our female counterpart to O'Leary. Fiorina may also have connections with the outside and could get some real help from that. With her net worth, who's to say she hasn't paid off one of her competitors' family to guarantee their loss? Having grown up in Tennessee, Dolly certainly knows the outdoors, and she's our counter to Lou Bega. If she can craft a guitar out there in the woods, watch out, cause she's coming for you.

From District Hestia: 

The great midwestern duo. Amy and Tom are both plenty experienced enough to help run this show in the best way possible. Klobuchar has a known pattern of aggression and this isn't something that should be taken lightly by her competition. Harkin on the other hand, despite his age, has the life experience needed to submit his opponents if necessary. He's met every kind of person, and I think he knows their weaknesses.

From District Misc: 

These two could not be more opposite on the spectrum of likeliness to win. Obi-Wan is the naturally strongest player in this game, and even though he may not have a lightsaber with him, he still has access to the force and all of its benefits. He may not tap into the dark side, but he is one of the strongest users of the light side out there. He will fight every battle defensively and likely win them all. Kim on the other hand is overweight, sheltered, and has an ego. Without a great deal of luck, this authoritarian isn't very likely to find success out in this arena.

From District Reagan: 

Two clones of the same man. They told the scientists that it couldn't be done but it was. Actor Reagan is more likely to be a success, been far more physically fit than President Reagan, but if the two work together or gain any sort of power, it may be hard to displace them from their power. Historically, it has never been easy to remove a Reagan from his throne, but both have a challenge in this game.

 

The Games will start soon. Who will win, who will die first, he will be the most bloodthirsty? Take your bets now, because training is coming to an end, and it's almost time... to begin.

And as the day is opened on the First Annual Hunger Games, the horn sounds.

Right away we have our first pair of cowards. Kaczynski is most likely heading into the forest in order to begin building a shelter to fend for himself, while Elizabeth likely understands her own strength and knows she would be slaughtered if she were enter the Cornucopia. I'd say, a wise decision from both.

What's that? Am I hearing that we have a casualty?

That's right, our first death comes at the hands of Dick Cheney himself, bringing District Timur down its first member. Cheney is ruthless and we're seeing it immediately. Perhaps the Pirate Party was just out of their element on land and not near any technology.

Our next trio of cowards. It does surprise me that Actor Reagan took his chances away from the Cornucopia, being as fit as he is, but Yang and Thornberry are likely making a smart decision here.

Shocking absolutely no one, our next causality has come from leftist infighting! Bernie decided that running into the Cornucopia, he'd be quite symbolic, and take out one of our world's main symbols of Communism, with another symbol of the ideology. Senator Sanders is clearly angry, as he seems to be in campaign mode, ranting and raving, he likely gave a speech about healthcare over the Dictator's lifeless body.

Williamson could sense that something bad would happen should she enter the Cornucopia, and wisely chose to avoid the whole ordeal, much rather choosing to meet with nature to gather her resources. While the theorist likely believed that there was a trap waiting for her because she's too smart for the whole people running this ordeal, so she chooses to run away. This is probably a wise decision, as a meeting between her and Bernie would not have gone well for her.

But what's that? More blood spilled?

The businesswoman herself has taken on the responsibility of weeding out the opponents. Is there a chance that Fiorina paid Prentiss' BAU enough money to keep her friends employed and her division afloat for a long time? Or is Prentiss simply not as useful without her friends there? We'll never know, but Carly means business.

Poor O'Leary was just trying to grab into the Cornucopia when Obi-Wan used the force to throw a molotov right at him. The man never stood a chance, his skills just weren't applicable to these games, and starting on a podium near the Jedi himself? Maybe with some better luck O'Leary would've had a chance, but alas, he leaves Mr. Cheney as the only remaining member of the Pringles District.

Quite a diverse cast of characters I must say myself. It seems that District Hestia is working together for the time being, while Harkin's connection to Reagan and Makoto's desire for friends leads her into this pack and temporary truce.

Being inspired by Bernie, the mascot decides that a sickle would make a great weapon, noting that you can eat a burger off of it if placed correctly.

District Misc decides that it's better off to leave the Cornucopia in one piece, and that with their youth and vigor, they'll be able to fend for themselves in the arena. While Parton isn't the biggest believer in violence, and would prefer to use her many life experiences in more rural areas to live off the land for a while.

And for the last Bloodbath event...

The wise Steyer recognizes that he doesn't have much experience, and that it would be smart for him to bring a med-kit out with him, getting in and out of the Cornucopia quickly, sneaking past all the violence and back into the woods.

 

 

At the end of the bloodbath, we have lost 4. Fortunately, no District has lost more than one member, but Districts Timur, Misc, WVProgressive, and Pringles are in danger of elimination come the next round of play.

After the Bloodbath, it officially begins as Day 1 of the Hunger Games. Let the day commence!

Something that old Bill perhaps should have done a long time ago. Maybe Bill can actually do some introspection and become a better person? Nah, in more likelihood he's just gonna try to carve a saxophone.

And Carly is on a tear! She truly is proving to be this game's regular girlboss. It seems that she was able to take Cheney's own rope, which he used to strangle the Pirate Party, and used it against him! Perhaps she knew that he would be a threat in the future and decided to get rid of him immediately. The death of Cheney is good news for everyone else in this game.

Sleepy Liz! She must've ran miles and miles and miles away from the Cornucopia out of fear. Perhaps her childhood in Oklahoma leads her to believe that she'll be stronger at night than in the day?

Klobuchar is likely sleeping because her ruthless soul expects that she'll be able to get the jump on someone at night. President Reagan is really hoping that the needles that pricked him won't drug him and is hoping to label the berries as a schedule one drug. I don't know why Kino is making a spear given her natural abilities, but I guess that there's no harm no foul in a backup plan!

While running away from the Cornucopia, all three of these lovely fellows must have found each other and decided to truce, because any battle would result in all of them losing. They discussed, and came up with the idea that Tom Steyer was a huge threat to win the game. The Theorist thought he was part of the deep state and Actor Reagan was ashamed that he was from California, while Lou Bega thought that Steyer had a bad taste in music. Nevertheless, Tom is down.

That sickle that Jack has must really be intimidating, for it makes even a Jedi Master tremble in his boots. Obi-Wan is weakened for the rest of the games, as a sprained ankle will take at least a week to heal.

Both of these fine fellows are in their natural environment. Uncle Ted is thinking of any devices he can potentially create. while Dolly is just living off the land until the time comes when she has to fight someone.

Nigel is going to be smashing the competition with his supreme archery skills, hoping that his handmade bow and arrow doesn't get destroyed immediately. I'm guessing that Marianne is hunting for berries and fruits rather than for animals, or she's hunting for animals so she can communicate with them and be lead to greener pastures.

Senators Harkin and Sanders are getting ready for the bloodshed to come. Harkin knows that he must keep his mind from wandering, so he keeps his time occupied with his favorite Iowan Childhood Pastime, because picking flowers in a field is about the only thing to do there. While Bernie knows that he'll have a target on his back from both political figures and from those who watched him kill Kim, so he must be prepared. 

 

So, day 1 has finished, and we have quite unfortunate results. District Pringles and District Blood have both been eliminated from the games, The Blood District losing in one fell swoop. Will action pick up tonight? Will Carly Fiorina continue to be a girlboss? Find out on night 1!

Here is the status of our game after Day 1

After an eventful first day in the Arena, the sun falls and we begin the first night for our contestants!

Despite her better knowledge, the theorist decides to hunker up with a member of the deep state, but Harkin is a forgiving, gentle man. He does not wish to see people lose their lives, although he is forced to, and so he decides that instead of unleashing his corn power, he will allow the theorist to live, perhaps to one day see the error of her ways.

With a lust for blood and a ledger of red, girlboss Fiorina stares at the sky, thinking of her actions. She's taken out two serious threats to her potential victory. She ponders whether she should continue her rampage or let the rest take themselves out. Whatever the case, Carly will stop at nothing to ensure her victory. 

Uncle Ted had lit a fire near his shelter to attract coming visitors. One by one, the other four came. None of the five members of the temporary alliance had been very invested in killing, all preferring more diplomatic approaches to their games. Even Ted, who would usually be making a device to take them all out, recognized that in this arena, there was no dirty industry to hold the world back, and so he was briefly at peace, and maybe, for the first time in his life, he felt like he belonged with this group of five.

In the process of causing Obi-Wan to sprain his ankle, Jack had also injured himself, for it's not easy wearing his attire in the woods. However, Jack is a sneaky mascot and had stolen the first-aid kit off of Tom Steyer's corpse after his killers left. Now armed with a sickle at his side and fully healed up, Jack would sleep and be ready for the coming day. Nigel, on the other hand, is unable to make a fire, much to his surprise. Having filmed as many documentaries as he has, you'd think that Nigel would know how to do this by now, but I guess life as an aristocrat can't be undone just by making a few movies.

After helping Ronald kill Steyer, Lou Bega realized how much of a threat that he was. And so, he pulled together districtmate and fellow musician Bill Clinton, as well as crazy Amy who had somehow snuck binders and staplers into the arena. However, the three weren't very sneaky at all, and The Actor was easily able to spot them, and then charm them with his beauty and wit, before making sure they'd never come back.

Marianne had been feeling in touch with nature since entering the arena, so she decided that it would be wise to climb a tree to sleep for the night, and perhaps wake up feeling refreshed and ready for another day becoming one with the arena. However, Marianne had overestimated her strength, and her arms gave out while she was halfway up the tree, and unfortunately, Liz Warren was just minding her own business beneath, when suddenly a body came tumbling down, and her frail body just couldn't handle it.

Bernie Sanders looked to the sky, and asked for some financial support. Much to his happiness, a college student had snuck his way into being a sponsor at the hunger games, and dropped the Senator some fresh food. Later that day, the Sponsor would use this as evidence that socialists always starving to death is just a myth.

 

And so after the first night, we have only lost two, and that was a careless mistake. It seems that most are using the first night to rest up and prepare for the coming day. I suspect a blood-filled day 2, but only time will tell.

Both President Reagan and Sir Nigel Thornberry are spending their time in the wilderness working on survival. Nigel is fishing for food so he can stay alive, using his life experience, while Reagan plans to use his shack to secede from The Arena and live there without having to pay taxes.

It seems that District Hestia has finally met up to take their skills to the hunt, while they've been joined by girlboss Carly, Actor Reagan, and Obi-Wan, who I'm guessing they thought was actually Jesus. The five of them should have many common enemies who they're willing to take out. Unfortunately, when five of the fifteen remaining contestants are hunting together, they aren't very likely to find anyone.

Again, it seems that despite Makoto's natural powers, she's still willing to take any weapons she can take to contribute to her coming battles. Combined with her wooden spear, Kino should now be able to duel wield. She hasn't fought anyone yet, but should be well prepared for the inevitability of a battle.

Lou Bega was just chilling trying to write a song, when out of nowhere, up comes Uncle Ted behind him. Now, Ted isn't a violent man in the arena, so he's being a better person. He didn't intend to scare or hurt Lou, but he still ran away. Ted is sad.

Bernie for no reason at all has not been allowed in the larger group of five that is hunting. Perhaps they're looking for him? Meanwhile, Dolly is potentially looking for flowers in order to make a new album cover.

Surprisingly, the theorist is choosing to help Jack. Perhaps he didn't tell her that he's from California. Meanwhile, Buff Bill is getting food, but he's still stressed out.

The Sun goes down, dusk settles, and the second night begins...

Even the wisest of Jedi can see their spirits fall in the most dire of situations... Obi-Wan can barely believe that he's ended up in this situation, and having killed Kevin O'Leary brutally and offensively has taken a hit to his mind. Meanwhile, Senator Sanders is working hard to make sure that everyone hears his stump speeches, but at the end of it, Parton actually seems to have listened. And so he leaves her for another day.

When Amy fell asleep, she was at first having a normal dream, sitting next to her husband, having a discussion. But then, when she turned to face him, it was not her husband, for it was Pete Buttigieg the whole time! This awakens her with fear and anger, the thoughts of having to look at him, the thoughts of Iowa, and 'High Hopes' blasting. Makoto, however, is a far better soul than The Klob, and when she sees President Reagan wounded, she of course springs to the rescue, and helps patch him up. 

And while all that is going on, Actor Reagan is sitting down, humming "Their Hearts Were Full of Spring" by The Beach Boys.

So much for a redemption arc from Uncle Ted. When he saw the wealthy, well-dressed millionaire in his sights, he just couldn't help but go full ballistic.  I know some would like to hear the details but I'd rather not, it might be the most gruesome we've seen so far. Alas, though, it was the end for Girlboss Carly.

Finally, things are starting to look up for the theorist! It seems that Q might actually be on her side after all. The young Clinton, though, does not have anyone on his side. You'd think that he would have learned how to start a fire before going out here, but poor old Bill was not able.

The fight between the youthful Bega and the elderly Harkin was not as clear cut as you would have thought. With the childhood of his, Harkin could certainly hold his own and is tougher than most out there. Out of respect, Bega would leave him be, as Lou returned to the woods to train more.

Nigel's vast wilderness experience enabled him to find the perfect place to sleep for the night, and he did far better than Marianne, anyways. Jack was dreaming of being from the east coast, and this was just too much for him to handle.

Harkin searches for higher ground, as it's a foreign concept to him, having lived in Iowa his whole life, while Jack looks also looks for something foreign to him, as he's only ever drank free-refill sodas.

The Reagan bros have a goofy time, the two stooges if you will. Actor Reagan hurts himself, just dancing and singing arond, while President Reagan makes a spear because he heard that someone in the forest has access to marijuana and he wants to save them from its evil influence by using the spear to force them into a cell.

The ghost of socialism past must have appeared before Sanders in the middle of the day. Perhaps it isn't too long before he finally snaps? He already killed Jong-Un, perhaps he will renounce his socialist ways.

 

After hearing of Carly's demise, Dolly Parton decides that this arena needs a new girlboss, and inserts her influence by immediately taking out one of the most powerful contestants.

Ted has once again decided to get along with fellow humans for the time-being in a group of misfits, while Nigel continues to just survive in nature, completely ignoring the fact that there's a life-or-death competition going on around him.

Lou Bega is getting a little bit of boom-boom in his life, while Klobuchar is practicing her archery. Really all she needs to do is pretend she's shooting at Pete Buttigieg.

Post-Day 3 status. 13 contestants remain, only District Cen, District SeanEugene, District Hestia, and District Reagan still have all contestants alive, while Districts WVProgressive, Blood, and Pringles have spilled all the blood they have.
