The Election of 1828 ended with an extremely close result, and several states sent competing slates of electors as a result. With the electoral college effectively deadlocked, the election has been thrown to the house and senate for the second time in a row. With dim prospects of ever getting a majority of the vote, John Randolph and Nathaniel Macon have given up efforts to campaign for votes. The election shall now reach its grand finale.
