Hey all ever since @ConservativeElector2 mentioned "partisan nation" an incredible obscure game that never got the hype it deserved, and would be incredible updated- I was wondering if there's any more games that are like this. I own every political game possible, but was also wondering if there's games that have elections and congress type systems that are detailed but may not advertise it as the main point.

I was excited to try Partisan Nation...but I don't get it.  Were there instructions somewhere?

A lot of people like 1960: The Making of the President.  I'm lukewarm on it.  Founding Fathers from the same designers is more interesting, if less election oriented.

There are a few election games listed at BGG.  Die Macher, about German elections, is easily the best in I've played.
