For me, I was confident in the rest of my choices, but a bit conflicted on the Democratic Socialists/Social Democrats choice. Idid choose that I would be elated about that government, but for me it depends on who's a leader in that. If the movement is being lead by, Bernie Sanders or Ro Khanna, then I'm happy. But if we're seeing the squad leading the movement, I'm hopeful but a little nervous.

@Pringles and @SilentLiberty have joined me in the cool bipartisan gang

However I do agree with @Rezi for me Sanders is already more "okay" than Nina Turner or AOC

I'm fine with Moderate Liberals up to Conservatives.

For the horrified question I only selected the 2 extremes. If Trump was in office again or Bernie/AOC, I'd be "horrified."

But yes, based. 😛

@jvikings1 I just want to ask this now, out of a deep and earnest concern:

Why would you be "elated" to see a government dominated by the faction which has its example members as Donald Trump, Matt Gaetz, and MTG?

Elated at Progressives to Moderate Republicans.  Horrified by Conservatives to National Populists.

That leaves just Democratic Socialists -- to which my response might be "Okay, but let's keep a close eye on this."

Basically, I believe the things a Conservative to National Populist country would do would be actively evil from my perspective.

The Democratic Socialists wouldn't be actively evil -- but they could royally fuck up the country from naivete.

Seems like there's a strange gender-divide between which Socialist-oriented politician is acceptable. Squad and Nina Turner isn't okay, but Sanders and Ro Khanna are.

For me it's mainly on attitude

Sanders worked with moderates to make Democrats win, Nina did not

Sanders called Maduro a dictator, AOC did not

Ayanna Pressley is fine to me, and so is Bernie because they are relatively low-key and aren't "burn it down". I don't like those that try to mainly get attention, which AOC is doing.

These are very generic terms for sections of the electorate. I selected it because there was no clear option for a liberty Republican. A traditionalist would cover some aspects and populism would cover some aspects as well. I'd argue conservative would include some as well, though that option has been mischaracterized with the inclusion of McConnell.

Then let me rephrase. Squad (This includes Jamaal Bowman and Cori Bush)/Nina Turner are fine, but they worry me with some of their rhetoric. I prefer people like Bernie, Ro Khanna, Marie Newman, Pramila Japayal, Raúl Grijalva.

Haha! WHAT?! He’s conservative as hell. Not as bad as Cruz but he’s still mostly socially heartless.

He's a political opportunist that will do anything to keep his power.

For example, he claims to be pro-life but continually votes to fund Planned Parenthood. But makes "key" votes on the issue to claim that he is trying to do something about it. At the state level, he has his people stonewall attempts to make conservative changes (such as Constitutional Carry [guns]).

He has a large amount of support for the surveillance state.

And on the budget, he is atrocious. Constantly voting for spending increases, bailouts, and caving to Democratic demands when in the majority, while refusing to use the same tactics for Republican demands when in the minority). He worked with the Dems to allow Obamacare funding when conservatives tried to stop it.

He has also been going around touting pro-lockdown rhetoric recently and refusing to do anything to fight against Biden's covid mandates (because he largely supports them).

"Horrifying," might be a bit hyperbolic of a term here. But, then again, most Americans often don't realize or see who the REAL threats to their freedom, integrity, and form of Government in the Halls of Power are - often calling them, "heroes," or, "they broke a few rules, but aren't that bad and shouldn't be punished," - and like to slam the more vocal and glaring proud nails, to the further Left and Right, instead. Very skewed perception of affairs...

I would tolerate centrists and moderates at least, but my ideal congress would be social right fiscal left. The closest thing to that is nationalists, but they are too xenophobic and just plain dumb for me to ever support them, so I went with none of the above.
