I'm curious why you think the Senate will go that poorly for the Dems. General consensus is it'll be relatively near where we're at right now from what I've seen. (Dems will likely do better in the Senate than House). Not to mention that polling for the Democrats hasn't been exactly horrible in terms of the generic ballot either (roughly even recently, plus 5 or so a month ago). I will wait for polls until later to take them super seriously, but I'm not counting anything out at the present moment.

BTW, I didn't know Aaron Burr was alive. Did they resurrect him with some lightning technology? Now, might be the time to resurrect Benedict Arnold...
