Pringles
Down south we have this place called Zaxbys. Really good. For America as a whole though, Chick Fil A is king. 😛 Edited January 9, 2022 by Pringles Forgot to mention the GOAT that's accessible all across the US though... Hestia
Culver's is wonderful! I just picked from the list because I figured it was easiest.
Pringles
Just now, Patine said: I've never been to the Deep South. Then again, I believe Harvey's, which is among the very best burger-and-fries chains I've ever eaten at, is only in Canada. Zaxby's is an interesting mesh of a lot of things. Chicken mostly, but Chicken, Fries, Texas Toast, Chicken Wings, stuff like that. And strong sweet tea. Southern cooking with a hint of southwestern/texan style kinda food.

Basically its toast, but it's cooked on a griddle or stove top. Typically it's smothered in butter, and garlic, sometimes cheese. At Zaxbys it's usually just a thick slice of bread, butter grilled into it, and it's very crunchy. 😛 It's a very thick slice of bread. Some random woke activist: Boycott Cancel Zaxby's, an evil corporation from the racist South discriminating against Italians! This shows the hidden systematic anti-Italian racism in fast food restaurant companies. Edited January 9, 2022 by Timur

jvikings1
Of the given options, Burger King has the best burger. McDonalds has the best ice cream (though a Wendy's frosty is very good). Wendy's has the best deals (4 for $4). But Culver's is the best overall option. 5 Guys is solid (though pricey). Shake Shack is also solid (but pricey).
Sean F Kennedy
In Ohio we have a place called Swensons that has fantastic burgers and the best jalapeño poppers. Their milkshakes are also great all with fresh ingredients.

vcczar
Only chains I go to for food in any sense are: - Taco Bell - Subway - Dunk'n Donuts - Starbucks The latter two are for coffee and only when an independent coffee shop isn't nearby. I don't go out of my way to go to Subway, but it is like a twice a year place. Taco Bell might be the only "regular."

MrPotatoTed
In theory, I love McDonalds and Burger King. But they're both so hit-and-miss. Sometimes it's delicious. Sometimes it's inedible. There's no quality control. Same with Subway. Wendy's used to be my absolute favorite -- I'd go twice a day, sometimes. And when I came back from Iraq, the very first thing I did was walk to Wendys, even though it was an hour long walk. But they changed their fries and now they're terrible.

You seem to be a big fry guy, did you try KFC fries? Those were my favorite but were expensive af.
