    2.1.3 Flip-Flopper Penalty Removed;

    • None

    2.1.4 Relocate Politicians & 2.1.5 Ideology Shift

    @Euri @10centjimmy @theFreezerFlame @Arkansas Progressive @Bloot911 @Blockmon @Willthescout7

    You now have the opportunity to attempt to relocate your politicians from overpopulated to underpopulated states.  You may also move politicians to their alt states at the time.

    Overpopulated States; CA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, MO, NY, OH, PA, VA

    Underpopulated States/Territories; AR, FL, KS, MN, NE, NM, NV, OK, UT.  KS provides a bonus to those factions holding the Expansionist card as the state has just come into the Union.  OR would as well, but has more than 20 pols in it so is no longer eligible for "underpopulated" state.

    You may also attempt to shift ideologies for your politicians.  Please consult the rules about how many attempts you get and the penalties associated with attempting shifts.

    BlueCons:

    No shifts, no relocations

    Jimmy:

    Shifts

    Thomas Talbot mod->lib

    Joseph A Gilmore mod->lib

    Relocations

    Robert E Lee VA->MN (overpop)

    John P Usher IN-> KS alt state

    • Ambassador to UK George M Dallas (2) attempts to improve relations.  He doesn't, but he doesn't damage them either.
    • Ambassador to France John Y Mason (2) attempts to improve relations.  He damages relations with France and they decrease by 1 to 4, between Hostile and Neutral.
    • Ambassador to Spain Augustus C Dodge (2) attempts to improve relations.  Surprisingly, he does!  4/15.  They improve by 1 to 5, Neutral.
    • Minister to Prussia James Pinckney Henderson (4) attempts to improve relations.  He does 25/50.  Relations with Prussia/Germany increase by 1 to 7, Friendly.
    • Minister to Russia Thomas H Seymour (2) attempts to take out a loan.  1/15 so success!  Russia loans the US money.  We are now in debt to Russia by 1.  Our total debt is 3, 1 to the UK, 1 to France, and 1 to Russia.  Rev-budget increases by 1 to 7, Underbudget.
    • Minister to China William Bradford Reed (2) attempts to improve relations.  He doesn't, but he doesn't damage them either.
    • Minister to Japan Joseph A Wright (4) attempts to increase trade relations.  It fails.

    And @Euridoubted his ambassadors!

    Well yesterday was the worst day at the polls in the 14 years I have been doing it.  Guy I had no interaction with calls me an asshole and gives me the finger. Another women as she is walking out says under her breath (but plenty loud to make sure I heard her) that "we really should just shoot all the Dems".  Then asshole guy comes back to bring his father to vote. While he's waiting outside for his father he proceeds to just unload on me. I won't repeat what he said but I never have been called so many derogatory words and slurs in any point in my life. I did not engage but the threat he made while driving away prompted a visit from the police to his house. (Let's just say they were familiar with him.)

    So yea so much fun. Can't wait to do it again in November when it will be ratcheted up that much more.

    You and all poll workers are heroes and true public servants.  That's a fact.

    Democracy works because y'all do.

    Thank you for taking your personal time to volunteer.
