  13. I will be voting against this bill, not because I am in favor of maintaining taxes as they are but because we must be wary of the loss in revenue. If we cut taxes now, we will never pay off the national debt. I urge my colleagues to reconsider their decision if they are voting in favor of the bill. Legislation: SDLP proposes a Devolution Referendum for Northern Ireland(timetable is up to the parliament) with a powersharing agreement if passed between all parties in Northern Ireland in order to bring the Troubles to an end and to bring the people a grand coalition together of men and women who desire to make sure that Northern Ireland is a safe place for everyone and can make its own local laws such as taxing, social policy, policing, etc.
