Interpreting this with my own religion. At some point in my early teens I started questioning religion in general. But somewhere during early High School I had a few experiences that made me re-evaluate my edgy positions. I’m now convinced you can’t tell me God doesn’t exist. Because I’ve just had too many near misses in life. I think believing the universe just sprung into existence from nothing is extremely silly, however I believe most of the credible scientific theories related to our creation.

There’s also some point where I believe I matured and realized the point of my Faith. Which isn’t to have a God that’s just going to answer you directly when you pray, or how agreeable he is, all of that nonsense. The entire point of Christianity for over 2000 years is that we are all sinners, all flawed. And we have been saved.

However, concerning 5, not all Christians are committed or “good,” so while obviously you have to be committed to your faith to go to heaven, that isn’t a shortcut for a bad person. That’s how I feel about it at least.

Thoughts on Victoria 3? What will be your first playthrough? What are your thoughts on the abstracted warfare system (somehow I imagine Vcczar is a big fan of this)? What mods do you wish for in the future?

My first playthrough will probably be the USA. Gotta rep the home team. Going to try to balance North and South interests to delay the civil war as long as possible. Though I may try to get an independent Ohio somehow and rock and roll with that (Ohio confederacy???). I have no thoughts on the new war system yet, as I haven't watched any videos of it and am not too entirely sure of how it works other than the basics. A cold war mod would be interesting I think, especially with the new warfare system.

my first playthrough might be qing dynasty to try to prevent the fall of the dynasty, no ideas for mods yet but the base vanilla game brings a lot of solid stuff

"Attack?" I have endured numerous attacks, insults, ridicule, belittlement, derision, and dogpile tactics from you and your band of hooligans. And you have been remiss as a moderator for seemingly defending them from any consequences, and even enabling their toxic habits. I am not making attacks. I am merely calling out rotten behaviour that a notable chunk of this forum has been in denial of. The post I am quoting here is pure chutzpah!

Bro is enduring online attacks you're like 40 man focus on retirement 💀

Even though I am formally blocking you, I feel this piece of digital defecation needs a response. I am, actually, not tied strictly to non-fiction in my interests, and have, in fact, a wide range of knowledge of, exposure to, consumption of, and even trying my hand at writing, science fiction, and many other fictional genres, in gaming, books, movies, TV shows, etc. And, I also happen to know well that saying, "it's fiction, there are no rules, anything can happen, nothing needs to be explained," as you seem to be in the school of, is one of the most lame-brained things you can say, and one of the easiest paths to ridicule and excoriation among fiction fandom you can engage in. As someone quite familiar with fiction, the concepts of internal consistency, maintaining intellectual property lore or evolving it naturally, suspension of disbelief, following genre and sub-genre conventions, and playing to the target audience and desiring to expand that audience, are all major and important features. Thus, asking about the clarification of the premise of a work of fiction, even in a critical tone, is not at all out-of-line - in fact, it's more expected than not. I do not need or benefit from your self-righteous, mocking, and condescending tone telling me not stick to gaming or fiction when it's obviously you that is the clueless one on the topic.

    didnt read lol

Why are these things in space, and why is there nothing out there in the vast depths other than robots not based on a modern or historical Earth archetype? Sounds like of cheesy to me...

because patine, not everything is based off non fiction and sometimes people want to play a sci-fi fiction game! please stick to being a social worker and not a gamer
