  1. This actually seems somewhat plausible with the tickets tbf
  2. 1: Kucinich is a man with very strong views so let's do a blitz of Interviews where he's able to answer any and all questions about his platform and also try and bring across that he's just a good, decent man trying to do what's best for the country 2- Endorsements have been great so let's try another one, We'll ask for some help from Jim Clyburn in seeking the endorsement of Rev Jesse Jackson, and we will highlight our similar areas of policy agreement and our admiration of his 1988 campaign for the Democratic nomination 3: Back to our bread and butter message, let's do some rally's in New Hampshire talking about the dangers of free trade and the need to protect domestic workers and small businesses
  3. 1: Kucinich will ask House Minority Leader Gephardt to tour Iowa with him, hoping to reassure Iowa voters that by touring with an important Democrat (from a nearby state no less) that he wasn't an extremist or a crank but a serious contender 2: Utilising Gephardt More Kucinich will hope his support from the House Minority Leader might help swing the support of Rep Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, Kucinich will emphasise his respect for the congressman's civil rights record, Kucinich will also appeal to their shared views on organised labour and minimum wage increases 3- Small states are about having the voters know and like you, Kucinich will tour New Hampshire, meeting voters in intimate locations (small-town restaurants, bars etc) and try to bring across that he's just an ordinary decent man trying to do whats best for the country
  4. Ill add the top 5 that pique my own interest The Long War Politics of the French Revolution and Napoleon (We The revolution was already mentioned, a great game and a great period) Three Kingdoms Game: Im a huge fan of this period, so much i forgive KOEI's kinda bad games, the ROTK games are still guilty pleasures and arnt a million miles away from what AMPU is Genealogy Game.: Im always on a desperate hunt for any good Genealogy games AMPU 2
  5. 1- Since the Endorsement went well last time Kucinich will try his luck in asking the venerable senior Senator from Massachusetts, Edward Kennedy for an endorsement. Emphasising both his respect for the senator's older brothers and the Senator's own record, promising to fight for his life goal of Universal healthcare. 2- Kucinich will make speeches around New Hampshire talking about how the Government has been wasting taxpayer money on foreign entanglements that have nothing to do with us and how the way we have been intervening lately has been exaggerating humanitarian crises 3- Kucinich will meet with local small and medium-sized business people in New Hampshire, stating how further free trade deals could seriously damage them in the long term by allowing competitors to flood the market with cheap goods and exploit cheaper labour pools than they can and as a result, they need to make a seriously anti free-trade atmosphere in the early days of the primarys by backing someone who will fight against it loudly (someone like Dennis Kucinich perhaps?)
  6. 1: Kucinich will kick off his campaign in the city he was once Mayor of Cleveland OH. “My fellow Americans, over the past 8 years we have seen some of the greatest economic growth in human history, we have seen the cold war end and with it the threat of nuclear Armageddon and we have seen huge leaps forward in our education and children’s welfare programs. However, I am speaking to you today because there is so much more that needs to be done for the hard-working men and women of America that too many seem unable or unwilling to say. With the dawning of a new Millennium and a New Age in human history, we must look for new solutions and new leadership. The Democratic party must stand forward and boldly what it is we stand for. The Democratic party should not simply put their rubber stamp on the other party’s programs, that is not offering the American people a choice but merely an echo. The Democratic party should not stand for trade deals that destroy our cities, our neighborhoods, and our Unions by shipping jobs overseas. The Democratic party should not stand for a healthcare system that sees people as customers, seeking to extract profit from the sick and vulnerable. The Democratic party should not stand for spending taxpayer money on foreign entanglements that have nothing to do with us. It is for these reasons that I am announcing my intention to run for the Democratic nomination to be the next President of the United States. I aim to provide a voice for the voiceless, to fight with our hard-working Union Men and Women, and to offer bold new solutions for a new age. Together we can build a better America. 2- After this Kucinich will attempt to win the endorsement of House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt, emphasising the need to build a strong anti-free trade atmosphere early on in the primary's as well as their similar views on healthcare and progressive taxation. 3- Moving to Iowa the campaign will start off with some good old door knocking around Des Moines along with small events like volunteer breakfasts to get to know the local people and get some volunteers going.
  7. I've never joined one but I'd love to join with Dennis Kucinich if its not too much bother ❤️
  8. Is it McArthur because I don't think the Kennedys and Hubert loved each other too much haha "My next Job- After getting my brother elected president of the United States - Will be the Political destruction of Hubert Humphrey (RFK after the West Virginia Primary 1960) The source is fear and loathing on the campaign trail 72 if your curious
  9. the last bit is copied straight from Wikipedia cause i don't really understand it but it was mentioned in my book on Ford so 🤷
  10. SE- Bicentennial Celebrations - Can Leave this out but it was a big deal (well it was supposed to be but watergate made it kind of a downer as I understand) The arrival of Alexander Solzhenitsyn (author of Gulag Archipelago)- Lots of Debate in Fords Cabinet about whether to meet with him or not. Doing so would annoy the Soviets but it would be good PR with conservatives Pres Actions- W.I.N(Whip Inflation Now) Ford's crusade against inflation. It didn't do much but it was a pet project of his Pardoning Nixon- Can understand not including it same as Warren Commission but it was a big decision Rockefeller Commission-Overshadowed by the Church Committee Legis- Runaway and Homeless Youth Act 1974- sets the federal definition of homeless youth, and forms the basis for the Runaway and Homeless Youth Program Jackson–Vanik amendment to the Trade Act of 1974 - "provision in United States federal law intended to affect U.S. trade relations with countries with non-market economies (originally, countries of the Communist bloc) that restrict freedom of Jewish emigration and other human rights."
  11. Im not sure if these fall under pres actions or not but- National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders (The Kerner Commision)- Investigate the causes of urban riots The Warren Commission- Can understand leaving this out but its notable of course
  12. Legis Props: Community Mental Health Act 1963- provided grants to states for the establishment of local mental health centers Equal Pay Act of 1963- ammendment to the Fair Labor Standards Act aimed at abolishing wage disparity based on sex Manpower Development and Training Act of 1962- endeavored to train and retrain thousands of workers unemployed because of automation and technological change
  13. Would choosing how to react to the McCarthy also fall under Eisenhower? It's is under Truman but Ike had a dilemma on whether to stay silent, praise or condemn McCarthy's actions. Also while I dont know what the McCarthyism event does, if it doesn't cover it you could also include the Alger Hiss Case (under Truman )that could shoot a certain Rep into prominence like what happened with Nixon IRL, maybe have the President be able to also Defend, Condem or stay silent
  14. Would a Jobs Guarantee fall under this category? Its been a proposal of the Democrats dating back to at least the 70's that many economists and Sociologists still advocate today Additionally, while a guaranteed minimum income is there you could also include Nixon's FAP which was a means-tested payments to poor families which could be split off from the more traditional UBI which is just a flat payment to all (but I'm not sure if the nuance is broad enough for that split to be warrented)
  15. For The Gilded age this political cartoon could work, I believe it's one of the most famous and long-lasting ones but it could be somewhat busy. For the Era of Normalcy, I thought a good image of the roaring 20's could work
  16. I think this is the obvious Image for the era of Manifest Destiny . The age of terror could be represented by an image of the twin towers but that may be more graphic than you were intending
