I agree as well. Every 2 years full cabinet change (minus 5 retained) seems ahistorical to me. You are also right we didn't do this in Warner's first term but the rules state we are supposed to.
I am fine for us in this playtest to make an executive decision and not do a full cabinet shuffle. You can make any changes you want (and probably should think about changing some or we get killed in the lingering phase again) but can also retain as many as you want.
Do anyone object tot his?

Sounds great to me

Just like Jnewt, we'll be voting yes on all current and upcoming appointments in order to encourage party unity for the midterms.

I don't think that trump would go out of his way to tease up his political comeback and than suddenly giving up on it. If he were to lose the primairy, I belive that it would go in two ways. Number one: Trump would run as an independent. I know that this is practically every democratic strategist's wet dream as this would ensure democratic victory in 2024 and a big rift in the GOP base but we must consider one thing, the erratic behavior of Trump. Trump is known for his erratic behavior with reason to as there has been mutiple cases where he went "power hungry" (First impeachment) and it wouldn't neccssary be a suprise that he might just be petty and run as an independent. The second way is that he decides to concede and let whoever wins run their own campaign aganist Biden. The reason I say this is even if Trump may seem erratic or "stupid", he knows the political landscape. He knows that he has a wide base from disgrunted democrats to literal neo nazis (Trump's recent comments during the Kanye Dinner). Either way, We will have to see whent he time comes.
-
I think an era of bewilderment would best fit the name. The republican party most likely just got wiplash from the populist era of trump back to the era of "normalcy" while the democrats mostly remain the same. This can lead to limitless combonations of the wings that control the party (LW populist vs RW populist, LW Moderate vs RW Moderate, etc). This also fits into the definition of bewiderment (a feeling of being perplexed and confused) as people from both parties don't really know where to head next.

I know that if you do this with biden, you might have to do this with every other president but I belive we should have some flavor events dealing with biden's reaction to the midterms. Just some little dialogue or speech should do it.

If someone runs from a territory, I think it should give them a buff in some areas. Like for example, if a person runs for president in a terrortory in Mexico, they should be given a buff in the southwestern states.
