One of the most underrated presidents for real. I'll be rooting for him too 😛

Drums of War: An All-CPU Playtest of the Civil War

Love to see Boss Tweed taking the reins. Is he really a conservative? For some reason I remember him being a sort of proto-progressive but I honestly could not tell you why I think that (and may be confusing him with someone else from that time period bc it’s not one I’m super knowledgeable of) -
I’ll have to pass for now but I am thankful for the offer and wish you all the best of luck! So far Chris Christie has my support.

Wait what happened to King?

If only the last few presidential elections had candidates as great as these. There would have never been a need for Andrew Yang and the Forward Party. Alas 😞

It says I think this only happens if the LW and RW factions are in the Presidents party, so there shouldn’t be a shift here. I think it would be a hit to enthusiasm for those factions and not party preference. I think this is where you were doing this in the rules: “If a justice of another party is confirmed, then the incumbent party has a 5-6 die roll chance of +1 party preference, and a 1-2 die roll chance of -1 faction enthusiasm for the president’s faction, and this can be both for the same nominee. If the president is “moderate,” then there is no penalty on faction enthusiasm if an opposition party justice is named, but there is a 1-2 die roll chance -1 faction enthusiasm of any Populist, Progressive, or Traditionalists factions within the president’s party.” We also need to elect a new Senate Majority Leader I think. “In the event that a House of Congress flips majority party due to deaths/retirements, the majority leaders becomes minority leaders and vice versa. ” of course, because this wasn’t brought up until after a positive party preference roll for the elected position I’m definitely not saying don’t give the +1 from blocking the 2 judicial nominee, but instead saying we still do that but should change the Senate PPT before the Congress in session phase. Of course it does say “switch” and we don’t have the minority offices yet, but it seems clear the intent is that when majority party changes that we flip the top of the chamber accordingly.

NAY on Livingston and Duvall from CalRedRW. Reds have a majority in the Senate and CalRedRW would ask that you take the nomination away from Duvall and give to his own Senator Francis Dana. CalBlueCon, with all of his 0 senators, cries at this turn of events and begs for the nomination to go through.

Similarly, would anything actually prevent him from being appointed to the Supreme Court? -

Just to clarify, we can only add 1772 draft class pols to the track right? I also have Mihsihkinaahkwa, so if he's considered in the game for all purposes but unable to hold office without Native American Suffrage, he'd still be useful as a Kingmaker which would be really hilarious to see. He would have to reach National Kingmaker status for him to take a protege outside of Indiana, however, so chance are that he wouldn't be able to actually do anything for most of the game. -
