  1. How would you differentiate them on paper? Are you using the $100M figure or a different one?
  2. I would have added private universities, particularly Ivy-League ones such as Harvard, Yale etc. Would have been interesting to see given the high-college populace on the forum.
  3. I don't disagree with the majority of this but I just think it'd be ebic if we could defend our own border as well as Israel and Ukraine's (I also want to avoid escalations or committed US ground troops which I think Haley will send gladly; I don't mind military equipment aid or extremely minimal financial aid).
  4. We agree on 2, 4 and 9 🤝 Everything else is a little different but that's ok
  5. But in all seriousness I do not think the system would provide better candidates and can provide a short counter-argument (short bc I'm on mobile). To start I think competency tests are akin to Jim Crow literacy-tests (huge exaggeration but you get the point), and I don't trust the national or state governments enough to ensure they're ran fairly. Also in theory an election should serve as a "competency test" in itself. Additionally I'm against forcing candidates to disclose personal financial information (tax returns and etc.) but slight bias there mostly because I wouldn't do it myself if I were running. I am okay with the background checks (though, to my imperfect and potentially incorrect knowledge I thought convicted felons were banned from running from office anyways, at least for violent/sexual/financial crimes but idk could be wrong). Mental and physical health checks (along with age limits) I'm unsure of. In theory voters should be smart enough to weed out the bad candidates but obviously we got stuck (again) with a hospice patient and a guy potentially facing the death penalty so who knows. Parties are bad but they may be necessary in theory. Every monarchy, presidential and parliamentary Republic, dictatorship and even totalitarian regimes have at least one party or something akin so I don't know if it's possible to not have one on a national scale. I am strongly in favor of national ranked-choice and automatic win for 50%+1 however.
  6. 1. Ron DeSanctimonious 2. Larry Hawgin 3. Rob Zombie-voice (proud of this one ngl) 4. Mark Cubanstein 5. Joe Manchin (lil yachty) 6. Cheeto Man 7. Brandon 8. Nimarata Randhawa 9. Lady Nader 10. Dr. Brotha Cornel West
  7. I would take Biden, RFK or Trump over Haley easily. Warmongering neocons need to die out. The US can exert power on a global scale without endless proxy wars across the globe.
  8. Trump winning New York and Biden winning Texas would be comedy. Prob just be Biden winning Texas IRL
  9. Trump has announced rallies in New York and appears to be legitimately campaigning there on the current migrant issues. Polls show Biden leading by 9% in the state (very comfortable but less than usual for a Democrat; plus the recent Lee Zeldin election may have been too close for comfort for Democrats). Am I crazy to say that it could be a state to watch in the election?
  10. Yeah she's extremely overrated. People like "being a part of the current thing" more than they actually like her music.
  11. You don't know her like I do (still delusional)
  12. She will until Lana Del Rey endorses Trump and Trump wins in a landslide 🔥🔥🔥 (I am delusional)
  13. Man thank God Haley wasn't the nominee
  14. The fifth hand is Hunter Biden
  15. Also some crazy ass in front of me was pelting Chiefs players with snowballs and hit I think Brittney Mahomes in the back of the head and security tried to find him. They didn't
  16. Lmao yeah. Wore my Myles Garrett jersey which was taken surprisingly well. Froze my ass off though.
  17. I'll be in Sec 109 row 13 (Bills side). Down to take a selfie for the group chat (this website)
  18. Not at home right now but I already know my top 3 are Madden, Vic 3, Ready or Not. Not a big fan of shooter games (I don't play CoD or Battlefield or any of the battle Royale games) but Ready or Not is the shit, especially after the new 1.0 update bringing in a squad management campaign mode. I have very low hopes for early-access games but they actually did it. I never knew a slow-paced, strategic and tactical shooter was what I needed and I can't recommend it enough. I only play single-player, but the AI is so good that most people have better success rates with AI than real players. Not even joking.
  19. It's probably my worst personal trait.
  20. Hot take: George Santos is who John Fetterman is scared to be
