    At least by the time I got it I had time to build up hospital buildings in my territory. I think anything before the 14th century would be absolutely devastating.

    Plagues are pretty solid. Not a fan of the same flavor event firing every month (buy a sachet of flowers to ward of diseases) but I think that may be a bug. Finally had the black plague fire from 1327-1347 where over unique 6000 characters died. It was intense!
