  1. What an interesting process; always so cool to learn about game development! I really cannot wait for when this game comes out. American politics needs a Grand Strategy Game the likes of AMPU, and when it comes my free time will totally be gone.

  6. plight is right in that it makes no sense for Hitler to just up and retire following his actions in Rhineland and Austria. He would've kept annexing lands until he was met with force. But hypothetically, if he just up and retired, Bismarck is still by and far the better unifier of the German state. You have to realize Bismarck literally founded the German state as we know it, and drove the national ideas and self-determination of that state. Hitler, before the war, was good at electrifying the public and fixing the state after the depression, but he didn't really unify anything, especially to the degree that Bismarck did.
  7. Done! (also FYI Garrett Dixon is WVP's politician, not mine).

  10. Speaker Paul D. Ryan makes the following statements on the matter of the beginning impeachment trials "I would encourage, I would really just hope the President does the right thing and resigns. The President took an oath to this country and its constitution. I listened plenty of times on the campaign trail in 2016 as the President spoke about his love of country. If he truly loved his country, he would own up to his behavior, and resign this nation and the world would be spared a trial that will degrade the institution of the Presidency via President Warner's actions, will weaken and rust our democratic institutions [...] I feel that most Presidents, to hold the job they do, must make themselves students of history. I think it's safe to say President Warner is too. And he's going to have to ask himself: does he want to be remembered as the third impeached president of the United States of America? Does he want to become the first convicted President? Does he want his last name to be associated with bribery, with political graft and corruption? Make no mistake about it. The House has the votes for impeachment, and we will impeach him. The Senate, I don't know what is occurring there, but I really hope they too do the right thing [...] As I, and the entirety of the House Republican Caucus said, should President Warner remain in office, then this party will not enable a criminal entity and enterprise occupying the White House. We will not pass a single agenda item, or policy plank of his, because this party will refuse to allow the office of the Presidency to be tainted any further."
  11. All of my faction members will be voting in favor of Impeachment.

  13. House Republican Caucus statement on Warner-gate The House Republican Caucus releases the following statement: WASHINGTON, D.C. -- "The entirety of the House Republican caucus finds that the actions that President Warner and his administration have engaged themselves in to be particularly egregious, and in violation of the oath that he swore on January 20th, 2017, to protect, defend, and uphold the constitution of the U.S. We find that the President must be held to account for his actions; as a result, a special committee will be formed (membership to be announced), one that will lead to the levying of Impeachment charges against President Mark R. Warner, as his actions fit well within the bounds of a "High Crime and Misdemeanor". If our Democratic colleagues in both the House, and especially the Senate, are as morally astute and committed as they claim themselves to be, then they should ask the President to spare our nation a lengthy, divisive and drawn out process of impeachment, and ask him to step down and let Vice President Inslee take up the office of the Presidency [...] It is the view of the entirety of the House Republican Caucus that President Warner's presidency is an illegal one, a now illegitimate one that smears and degrades the office of the Presidency every second of every day President Warner stays in office. The House Republican Caucus has zero plans to allow any of the president's agenda or policies to pass through the house, as long as he is in office."
