  1. Might as well run out Hampton again, I mean the guy got stuck with a defense and special teams made up of paperboys so I don't really blame him for the season being mid
  2. all part of the plan, we're headed straight to exciting mediocrity baby! get those tickets pumping!
  3. Funnily enough, it's worked just now. 24 hour rule should be plenty as long as I can answer from my phone now 👍
  4. The problem is that I keep trying to log on with my phone, but it never recognizes my password. The problem should be fixed shortly, but so far I've had to go on my PC to respond.
  5. If you've ever seen the Vegas Golden Knights jerseys of the NHL, it'd be something like that, although adapted more for the NFL look (things like the uniform number on both sides, etc)
  6. I suppose if you wanna replace me with jnewt that's reasonable, but I just haven't had time this weekend. 1. Albany, NY 2. New York State 3. Las Vegas, NV 4. Cheyenne, WY 5. Syracuse, NY
  7. I disagree right here in particular. MLB.TV already just airs the RSNs feed, which is mostly paid for and operated by the RSN. The MLB would have to invest quite a lot in fully replacing RSNs via MLB.TV, which is why I don't think it's happening any time soon.
  8. I hope so, but I think with the amount of powerful RSNs and cable companies still out there I think nothing will change. I mean, you've got YES running the very large Yankees market, ROOT sports northwest running the Oregon/Washington sports market as a whole and all of the NBC sports networks (Boston, Philly, California, Chicago, even SNY airing the Mets and some other teams and more iirc) along with the Canadian market still being effectively ran by one major RSN. It's not a very easy situation for the MLB or even the NBA or NHL to get out of. I think odds are a couple media conglomerates will simply fight over the rights to what Bally is losing. Fox Sports likely wont make a comeback but I could see a group like NBC trying to expand their network.
  9. IIRC, the blackout rule is nowadays mostly upheld to help keep RSNs going strong rather than to drive attendance. Sure, it's still completely stupid and archaic as no one is buying a full cable package or anything of the sort just to watch one or two sports teams but it at least makes MORE sense than driving attendance. Regardless, as a wise man once said:
  10. you've gotta be trollin now
  11. better question: would the rest of us be better off and the answer is yes
  12. We can ban tiktok and A&W together. Fuck that stupid bear.
  13. I don't believe I can, Sorry.
  14. Forgot to add public speaking.
  15. you know Steve's Uncle Jimbo and Dean Spanos (owner of the formerly San Diego now Los Angeles chargers) put up some compelling arguments but the charisma of Mmmthe can't be understated, big fan and I would have to give my vote to Mmmthe.
  16. I'll have to see what my schedule is for the next few weeks before I can decide if I'll join in or not.
  17. Featured in this picture is a pie chart created by John Pierce (debated) of 4 southern states reasons for secession within their own declarations, based on how many words of the declaration were dedicated to the issues. "Context" is procedural language and/or historical explanation that isn't devoted particularly to one topic. As seen in the chart, Georgia is the only state to go into detail about economic issues (Mississippi also went into detail about economic issues, but they were in correlation with slavery's impact on their economy, so it went into the slavery category.) I can go into more detail about this, if you would like.
  18. 1. The State's Rights Party official twitter would reply to a Jackson Hinkle tweet with "ratio commie" 2. Alan West would attempt his series of speeches in Texas again, this time getting a somewhat shady businessman on board for the whole thing! 3. Alan West would attack all of the other right-wing parties in a speech in Georgia, referring to the Conservative party as "The party of pussies and the Iraq war," then discussing the Patriot Party's use of Orban as "unamerican" and "unpatriotic" and calling the Heritage party the Patriotic Party's little brother.
