GENERAL EVENTS 2022-2024

Relations Deteriorate:  Some say the president is ignoring foreign affairs for the sake of domestic policy.  Our relationship with Germany falls by one.

Major Oil Spill:  President Biden, a major oil spill is spreading off the coast of America. The oil company and volunteers are doing all they can, but the damage has been done.  Planet's health falls by one.

Terrorist Attack on US Troops:  President Biden, a terrorist attack has hit an overseas military base. Casualties are unknown at the moment. Our military was taken completely by surprise.  (No impact on meters)

Race Riots:  Clashes between proponent and opponents of Civil Rights are increasingly common in our major cities. More and more questions are directed to President Biden to do something about them.  Biden needs to decide whether to send in troops or not.

SCRIPTED EVENTS:

There is only one scripted event capable of occurring right now -- that's what I get for starting a game at the tail end of an era.  Haha.  Per the rules, that one scripted event will fire...and then the rest will be general events again.

Transgender Rights:  A movement for transgender rights is taking hold across the US, mostly in the cities.  LGBT legislation will be worth double in the upcoming phase.  

BidenCPU and WarnerCPU each gain 50 points, as the Human Rights factions.  Biden will consult with his cabinet on how to react.

Scandalous President:  President Biden, they know about what we've been up to behind closed doors. The people know, the politicians, our allies...they all know. This isn't going to go away, so you need to consider your options here.  

President Biden faces a major scandal, taking a -1 in the upcoming Presidential elections.  

Cabinet Member Garners Attention:  Its not common for a cabinet officer to gain the spotlight in the media. We could take advantage of this by running them for elected office somewhere.   

HarrisCPU Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra gains +1 in 2024 elections and +1 Admin.

Philosophical Diffusion:  It looks like Katie Porter and Tom Strickland are coming around to our faction's values. We could make use of them in higher offices to make sure our voices are heard.

I can hear the skeptics now saying that Biden orchestrated the oil spill on purpose in an effort to garner support for his agenda to rid the world of fossil fuels and to pass his green new deal socialist agenda.

I also see a lot of irony in the response to riots as the same people who blasted President Trump for being heavy handed if he responded in any way to the "mostly peaceful protests" during the summer of love are now screaming to send in troops to save the cities.   But not to actually protect our troops overseas or respond in any way to them being attacked.
