  1. It's why I kept Arnie as my FL! (I just forgot that he didn't have command, oops.)

National Polling - May 13th, 1992 George McGovern: 54% (+3) Mario Cuomo: 29% (-2) James Traficant: 2% (=) Undecided: 15% (-1) Upcoming Races Outlook - May 13th, 1992 Oregon: Safe McGovern (+34) Kentucky: Likely McGovern (+12), Traficant at 1% Arkansas: Lean McGovern (+4) Alabama: Lean Cuomo (+5) California: Safe McGovern (+16) Montana: Safe McGovern (+38) New Jersey: Likely McGovern (+6) New Mexico: Safe McGovern (+18) Ohio: Safe McGovern (+21), Traficant at 5% Oregon will take place at the end of this turn Kentucky and Arkansas will take place at the end of next turn And a such, a new turn begins. @Fbarbarossa @The Blood @Cenzonico
  3. Democratic State of the Race - 5/13/92 Delegates needed to win: 1,748 Note: Popular vote is for primaries only. George McGovern - 6,051,858 votes - 44.73% - 1,190 delegates - 34.06% of total Mario Cuomo - 5,092,089 votes - 37.64% - 1,003 delegates - 28.71% of total James Traficant - 195,147 votes - 1.44% - 2 delegates - 0.06% of total Daniel Patrick Moynihan (suspended) - 2,158,302 votes - 15.95% - 438 delegates - 12.54% of total Bob Kerrey (suspended) - 14,274 votes - 0.11% - 11 delegates - 0.31% of total Bob Casey Sr (suspended) - 17,893 votes - 0.13% - 10 delegates - 0.29% of total Joe Biden (suspended) - 0 votes - 0.00% - 5 delegates - 0.14% of total George McGovern would need 66.83% of the remaining delegates to secure a majority.
  4. 1992 West Virginia Democratic Primary Results George McGovern - 162,246 votes - 52.87% - 19 delegates Mario Cuomo - 107,634 votes - 35.08% - 12 delegates James Traficant - 36,983 votes - 12.05% - 0 delegates
  5. 1992 Nebraska Democratic Primary Results George McGovern - 98,920 votes - 65.69% - 16 delegates Mario Cuomo - 51,666 votes - 34.31% - 9 delegates
  6. Adams: 5. The ad airs in limited locations before it's pulled off of the air due to Bryan Adams claiming the ad as unlawful use. California: 4. Cuomo takes a small hit in the Golden State with a low energy rally. South: 1! Cuomo's events in the south don't go smoothly, as old school Southern Democrats are unsatisfied with their choices in the primary, leading to hostility to any candidate in the area. Overall: -6. A poor turn for Governor Cuomo, especially in his best region. Eastern Ohio: 1! Traficant's home region is quite hostile to him this time around. The exact blue-collar workers that Traficant wants to appeal to are denouncing him as a puppet of the establishment due to the circumstances surrounding his drop-out and return to the race. Athens: 7. The youth, in limited numbers, are much more willing to hear him out. The few remaining liberals not under the charms of McGovern are looking for any other option, since they don't believe Cuomo has it in him, and Traficant is some level of an option. Celeste: 2. The former Governor makes a strong repudiation of Traficant in a public speech where, while making no formal endorsement, Celeste makes it clear that he wants "a sane Democrat in office". Overall: -6. Not a good week for the once-again fledgling Traficant campaign, not much is coming up Jim. California: 7. OJ Simpson is quite welcomed by the state of Hollywood. He may divorced, but California more than anywhere should know that even divorcees can be family men! Arkansas: 9. McGovern is able to successfully lift the rock, and the citizenry of Little Rock are impressed by The Prophet's strength, it really makes their toxic masculinity happy. Kentucky: 9. McGovern is able to convince members of the god-fearing populace that he truly was sent by the heavens with his ability to charm snakes and other deadly creatures into submission. Overall: +10. Just another incredible week for McGovern, who continues to further entrench himself with a lead.
  7. 1 on commerce, 1 on independents
  8. To clarify on 8, I'm not against white collar criminals getting 20+ years, I just think a 20 year minimum would be foolish. White collar crime is very case-by-case, imo.
  9. James L Buckley will run as a minor candidate.
  10. Spend 1 WC on Health and 1 WC on independents.
  11. National Polling - May 6th, 1992 George McGovern: 51% (+2) Mario Cuomo: 31% (-1) James Traficant: 2% (-1) Undecided: 16% (=) Upcoming Races Outlook - May 6th, 1992 Nebraska: Safe McGovern (+28) West Virginia: Likely McGovern (+14), Traficant at 6% Oregon: Safe McGovern (+29) Kentucky: Lean McGovern (+5), Traficant at 3% Arkansas: Lean Cuomo (+4) Alabama: Likely Cuomo (+11) California: Likely McGovern (+10) Montana: Safe McGovern (+33) New Jersey: Tilt McGovern (+1) New Mexico: Likely McGovern (+13) Ohio: Safe McGovern (+16), Traficant at 9% Nebraska and West Virginia will take place at the end of this turn Oregon will take place at the end of next turn And a such, a new turn begins. @Fbarbarossa @The Blood @Cenzonico
  12. Democratic State of the Race - 5/06/92 Delegates needed to win: 1,748 Note: Popular vote is for primaries only. George McGovern - 5,790,692 votes - 44.30% - 1,155 delegates - 33.06% of total Mario Cuomo - 4,932,789 votes - 37.74% - 982 delegates - 28.11% of total James Traficant - 158,164 votes - 1.21% - 2 delegates - 0.06% of total Daniel Patrick Moynihan (suspended) - 2,158,302 votes - 16.51% - 438 delegates - 12.54% of total Bob Kerrey (suspended) - 14,274 votes - 0.11% - 11 delegates - 0.31% of total Bob Casey Sr (suspended) - 17,893 votes - 0.14% - 10 delegates - 0.29% of total Joe Biden (suspended) - 0 votes - 0.00% - 5 delegates - 0.14% of total George McGovern would need 66.55% of the remaining delegates to secure a majority.
  13. 1992 Washington DC Democratic Primary Results Mario Cuomo - 47,086 votes - 76.14% - 13 delegates George McGovern - 14,759 votes - 23.86% - 4 delegates
  14. 1992 North Carolina Democratic Primary Results George McGovern - 427,710 votes - 52.17% - 44 delegates Mario Cuomo - 392,064 votes - 47.83% - 40 delegates
  15. 1992 Indiana Democratic Primary Results George McGovern - 246,590 votes - 51.71% - 44 delegates Mario Cuomo - 187,157 votes - 39.25% - 33 delegates James Traficant - 43,120 votes - 9.04% - 0 delegates
  16. Gary: 3. Most citizens of Gary aren't swayed towards Traficant by his message, many of them are already prospective Perot voters and believe Traficant's message to be pandering. Visclosky: 4. The Representative declines to answer your calls. Morgantown: 5. Traficant's barnstorming goes fine, but it mainly serves as a name recognition tour, rather than one of garnering support. Overall: -3, -5 (McGovern), -2 (Cuomo) = -10. Traficant's a bit slow getting back into the groove of campaigning, and relentless attacks from both his opponents don't help his lot one bit. Cuomo: 5. The attack doesn't have much salience since the general populace is already well aware of Cuomo's alleged faggotry and no one's mind is swayed. Traficant: 10! But Jim Traficant a queer? That's a new one! The populace of Indiana is mighty satisfied to hear another gay politician revealed by the prophet in his Pink Scare. DC: 6. Congrats on coming out! All the twink congressional aides are now behind your campaign! Just don't let the rest of the country know, except for maybe San Fran. Overall: +6, -2 (Cuomo) = +4. McGovern has a good week, particularly in Indiana, and assembles a nice twink brigade. DC: 2. Cuomo's appearance is interrupted by a McGovern's Twink Army, who create a new slogan: "We don't like no catholic fags, go home in a body bag!" and they shout it relentlessly until Cuomo leaves the stage. California: 2. Cuomo's tour of California bombs after he gets stuck in NorCal because of an unanticipated late April ice storm. Attack: 9. The attack ad goes swimmingly! The only unfortunate part is that the ad only ever said "my opponent", so no one really knew who it was about. Both Traficant and McGovern take an equal hit. Overall: -2. Cuomo can't get much of anything done in DC or California, but his vague attack ad was a stroke of genius.
  17. Katie Britt and Richard Shelby dance to the Macarena at an event in Charleston, South Carolina. Katie Britt runs a nationwide ad where she condemns the actions of the Unabomber. Katie Britt attempts the endorsement of Kay Ivey once again.
  18. I feel like the ideologies for this one should be swapped, no?
