The Bronx falls quickly; the hypnotics portraits of Jesse Jackson activate the city's black citizens like sleeper agents who let the armored assault from the north through. Unfortunately for George, the nuclear bomb that he'd obtained from Deng Xiaoping wasn't functional, and Wall Street was saved. By the end of the day, most of Queens and the Bronx had fallen. McGovern's men had dug-in for a siege on Brooklyn and Manhattan. The Italian death toll is said to have reached the tens of thousands. Staten Island remains under siege, but overall fine. The rally doesn't go well, Cuomo is a bit exhausted with how the campaign has gone so far. He just doesn't have the energy to sustain huge rallies anymore. Northeast: 1! The tour goes horrendously. This is Cuomo's best region, but there are still a ton of McGovernists in the region who're there to heckle every single Cuomo event and make it a dangerous situation for all involved. Overall: -8, -2 (McGovern) = -10. A bad week for Cuomo and attacks from McGovern has only accentuated the problem. He's tired, he's worn out, he just doesn't have that much fight left in him.
