1880 Conservative Democrat Senate appointments-

Garland, AR- No Class I seats

Reynolds, DE- Reappoints Edward L Martin, Matt faction, to the Class I seat.  Also, due to a Whig retirement, Reynolds appoints Thomas F Bayard, Matt faction, to the Class II Senate seat.

Wood, KS- No Class I seats

Bradford, MD- Appoints former MD Senator, Philip Francis Thomas, of Bradleyg faction, to replace Whig Senator John W Crisfield.

Ellis, NC- Appoints former NC Senator, Thomas Bragg, of Matt faction, to replace Whig Senator John A Hyman.

Downey, UC- Appoints Philemon T Herbert, Matt faction, to replace Whig Senator William Higby.

VA - Replace  William E Stevenson with  Charles T O'Ferrall (Bradley)

FL - Replace  Horatio Bisbee Jr with  James Taliaferro (Bradley) (finally got him)

MO - Retain  Francis Cockrell (Matt)

OH - Retain  Americus Vespucius Rice (Matt)

WV - Retain  Henry G Davis (Matt)

CT - Retain  James Phelps (Mark)

GA - No Class I

MI - Replace  Thomas W Ferry with  Edwin B Winans (Matt gain) (a lot of my factions are having no legis guys in the states they've won gov if they're whiggy states)

MS - Retain  Benjamin Nabers (Bradley)

SC - No Class I

LC - Retain  Charles W Kendall (Matt)

NJ - Retain  Orestes Cleveland (Pman)

OR - No Class I

Another thing to note is while Bourbon Democrats have the Presidency retirements have hit them hard the past few cycles (all our factions really), I've noticed a general thinning of the talent pool.  Probably in 4-8 years there won't be enough people to contest every district of PA for example, which is probably realistic, but it's a big change.
