Ich_bin_Tyler
From Harrison's executive actions: Conservative Democrats and Popular Sovereignty Democrats control the Military-Industrial cards and are both very happy with the Pro-military spend. Ideological enthusiasm moves 1 each to Red (Cons +2 Red; now maxed out). For Advocating Manifest Destiny, Harrison misses the chance at +1 in the next election. The Gov and Sens from GA are happy about this policy, but the opposite can be said of the Gov and Sens from MA (gaining or losing 100 points for agriculture and manufacturing). This policy is a huge boon to the Democrats, especially those controlling Military-Industrial and Expansionist cards. Popular Sovereignty Democrats would increase their enthusiasm but Cons are maxed already. The Conscience Whigs are very much upset by this and their Liberal enthusiasm moves towards Dems +1. Two points of order: Now that Texas has been granted statehood, politicians with TX as an alternate state and moves available can move there now. Pres Harrison to nominate two Supreme Court replacements. Rolled and they both come from his faction. @Willthescout7 @OrangeP47 @matthewyoung123

Ich_bin_Tyler
Mr. John Black of MS is confirmed 41-11. Black does not gain +1 judicial. Mr. Jacob Collamer is confirmed unanimously. Collamer does gain +1 judicial. No meters move with the nominations nor confirmations of the new Justices, also neither Justice sees his ideology move. And it now time for the 1842 midterm elections! We now have 27 states in the Union. @Willthescout7 @matthewyoung123 @OrangeP47 If you think the Whigs will hold on to both Senate and House click "Agree" on this post, if you think the Whigs will lose one chamber click "Confused" on this post, and if you think the Democrats will win both chambers click "Disagree" on this post. Ich_bin_Tyler
Politician Conversions Due to Conservatives being maxed for Whigs, Conservative Democrats might party switch. Judicial Track David Walker switches from Conservative Democrats to States Rights Whigs James H Lane switches from Popular Sovereignty Democrats to States Rights Whigs VA Rep Henry A Wise switches from Popular Sovereignty Democrats to States Rights Whigs President Harrison will attempt to convert Simon Cameron of PA and fails. Democratic leader William Marcy will not attempt to convert as the States Rights Democrats are the highest scoring faction but cannot be targeted for conversion due to high enthusiasm for Conservatives. @OrangeP47 @Willthescout7 @matthewyoung123 Same party conversions. In theory the Whigs cannot convert as States Rights Whigs are the highest scoring faction and maxed enthusiasm. So action just to Democratic faction leaders. Whigs can activate new kingmakers, however.
